You should be able to buy that silver car for close to $15k. Has been for sale for a very long time. That mint red one which was discussed here recently was (from memory) about $17k.
-
Whatever you are willing to pay for it I guess, but has been for sale for a while. I drove this car about two years ago. Went very well then. BUT - if you are after a second car / toy. Check out this well priced Z3 M, same engine as E36 M3 Evo.
-
Yes. 19's were an option. Look ten times better.
-
An M3 will always be desirable though. Every non-M 5 Series is going to be worth $5k at some point of its life!

Yeah, but who is going to write out a cheque for that amount on the spot? These property deals never work. Why would want to get stuck with something you then have to go to the effort of trying to find a buyer for? You would only ever want to trade it for an amount someone else has promised to take it off your hands for. With this sort of car, I doubt there would be many buyers out there - especially at a premium price. In this case, I doubt a dealer would want to retail it for more than $29,995. Yes, there may be some for sale around the $50k mark - but who is buying them? Your client would be ill-advised to pay anything more than $20k for this car, unless he has a buyer lined up who is willing to pay more.

Pics? Values of these are all over the show. If priced sensibly it should sell quickly.

BUMP Auctions close tomorrow. Link M3 badge has been snapped up using buy now...
-
Both look like good buys. I thought people would snap up manual ones quickly? Why would you waste your time with SMG when you can bag one of these nice NZ new puppies at a reasonable price?

I can't find seat covers to fit an E90 seat! :-(

Look interesting. I wonder how tight they would be... If they are baggy, your interior would look like a taxi -
UPS 'Fix It' Requests Just in case you need a laugh: Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane, but only a high school diploma to fix one, reassurance for those of us who fly routinely in our jobs. After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers. By the way, UPS is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement. S: Almost replaced left inside main tire. P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough. S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft. P: Something loose in cockpit. S: Something tightened in cockpit P: Dead bugs on windshield. S: Live bugs on back-order. P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent. S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground. P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear. S: Evidence removed. P: DME volume unbelievably loud. S: DME volume set to more believable level P: Friction locks causes throttle levers to stick. S: That's what friction locks are for. P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode. S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode. P: Suspected crack in windshield. S: Suspect you're right. P: Number 3 engine missing. S: Engine found on right wing after brief search. P: Aircraft handles funny. (I love this one!) S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious. P: Target radar hums. S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics. P: Mouse in cockpit. S: Cat installed. And the best one for last................. P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer. S: Took hammer away from midget

Wow, it has only done 2,000km in the last 5 years! Carfax link. No matter what anyone says, its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If you like it, make an offer!

A man walks into a petrol station and says, 'can I please have a KitKat Chunky?' The lady behind the till gets him a KitKat Chunky and brings it back to him. 'No,' says the man, 'I wanted a normal KitKat, you fat bitch.'

What an immaculate example. Those poms can be crazy when it comes to presenting cars!

I'm a big fan of 993 (1993 - 1998) shape Porsche 911's and often do searches to see what sort of prices they are selling for. Being the last of the air cooled 911, I think these will be very desirable classics one day. Stumbled across this - eBay Link... You would need to have a lot of money to buy a pair of new 911's to simply lock up in the garage! One has done 75 miles and the other 179. I bet the seller has some nice cars if he can't be bothered driving these puppies.

There are certainly some bargains to be had at Turners. As for Turners bidding, it's perfectly legal to make "vendor bids" up to the reserve price. I wouldn't complain about it as it does pump up the price and create a bit of excitement. The only thing I would be wary of is some of the cars that go through. Dealers do send stuff there that they wouldn't want to risk having on their yard, i.e. something that hass issues that will come back and bite them in the ass. If you have never been to Turners before, make sure you attend a few auctions to get a feel of the process before you decide to buy. I've heard many stories of people paying far far too much for something in the heat of the moment as they got caught up in the excitement.
