No, I don't think so. Doesn't look too bad though. I like it how the car has a real 80's look to it, the colour, the weaves, the kit and the chrome. If I hadn't just bought the E36, I would be all over this one like a rash. Surely it's a steal if its going for a mere 5% of what that red E30 M3 convertible was selling / sold for.

Price is OK. I guess the big bonus here is that someone else has spent the money on clear lights, wheels and kit. If it checks out OK, could be a good buy.

Yeah, if the exterior isn't bad enough, that combo of tacky aftermarket stereo and horrid wood trim ruin the interior.

I guess if you don't like Trademe, don't use it. If it's so bad, why are their nearly 2 million users? The majority of their revenue comes from success fees. If cell phone numbers were allowed people would conduct business outside of Trademe, lowering their take.

What exactly is the facelift front panel? My car is cosmos with M3 front and had recently had the nose resprayed, don't want to go backwards looks wise! Actually have sorted some kidneys now. But pre-f/l, not f/l. Not too worried as they don't look hugely different to me. May buy some facelift ones later down the track but dont want the awful ones on TradeMe that are all chrome (like the center bits to be black!).

Lots on TradeMe. But, you should go for a 523i or 528i. IMHO, 520i's are underpowered and as the majority are from Singapore they have electrical gremlins...

Yes, the E30 M3 has more racing pedigree than the E36 M3. But to say the E30 in general was based on a race car is rubbish!
