  7. Has anyone else used Arrow wheels to repair wheels? I have used them for some of mine, I noticed when a smal chip is back in the wheels, the newly painted shadow chrome starts to peel away so the orignal paint is showing .....kinda like a snake shreading its skin. Has anyone noticed this? -- if you have used Arrow wheels
  8. Thanks Yuen & Jochen ... i think I might give this one a miss, i think because I managed to convert my OBC I thought I could tackle that one...too technical
  9. You can have mine for $180 - all pixels working, with cluster and pigtail PM me if your initerested
  10. What kind of headlamps are they? DEPO? Are you waving your screwdriver around needing to remove the OE headlamps or wanting to know how to fit your new ones?
  11. Was that you driving a Green E36 coupe on Summerland Drive last week? If you are looking for another front filler panel, try Ladies miles motors in Auckland, they will have a spare one for sure, I was there las week and they had them: 120 Main HWY, Ellerslie PH: 5795910
  12. At the moment, if you are not happy with States response, say you have done nothing to your car, you were just curious or you will think about it and phone back in 10 mins ... you will get a different response
  13. Insurance is quite an often subject aye ... dont ya love insurance? Im making no comment otherwise threeoneeighht and myself will take over this thread
  14. We tested both V1 & Bell next to each other to see which was best: The Bell picked a little more junk than the V1 (shopping doors etc) Speed Camera Vans hidden in little coves - the V1 kicked ass here Overall we thought the V1 was best, picked up cops with more warning than Bell. V1 also has a counter that tells you how many cops are around and arrows to show which direction they are in. I would go V1 Valentine if money is not a problem, Bell would be second choice
  15. I do to all BM's, if the car is mint, then I beep twice. I waved at 2 E60 tourings towing E30 race cars on the back on the Northern motorway couple weeks back, was that someone here? Andy maybe? They waved back
  16. Dont give up that easily yet buddy ... Can we get some pics, preferrably close up of each wheel and not those far away pics of all 4 - want to see curb damage, not interested in tyres. You could get used E46 CSL wheels for around that price you want
  17. Can you advise Team McMillan BMW here in Auckland to do the same? I know your a different franchise but your prices are good compared to what I pay at TM
  18. Welcome mate, everyone here I have found is knowledgable and friendly on all BMW's.
  19. Im wondering about the clusters and connections, also maybe a tap into the module boxes behind the glove box? Not sure of how a E39 is set up. I successfully converted my 11 button OBC to a 18 in the 323i, all functions work including Range, consumption, distance and sercret functions. Worth a try guys if your into gadgets
  20. If its not what Will has put here, try the fuel pump ... my E30 few years back had the same problem and ended up it was the fuel pump
  21. to apply a multi function steering wheel from a E39 to a E36? Is it possible? If I get the wiring right will the E39 wheel be compatible with the OE CD stacker / climate control / lights etc? Has someone done it or know someone who can, i have searched bimmerforums as wheel but there looking too.

I think my wife buys me Jeasnwest?? Their good, and so is Quiksilver, Rusty who ever makes them. I have a slight beer gut too (and Im proud) Is Stubbies still around? They were the sh*t when I was at school..
  24. I love those Corolla station wagon ones where the exhaust is wider than their tyres and hanging down with 2mm clearence from the road... I guess if the car sounds fast it makes the 1500cc Toyotas etc look as if their can do a 1/4 mile in 10 seconds
  25. Is it just me or do others here tend to have a Silvia, Skyline etc right up your arse wanting to drag you?? Those cars piss me off .. its like they want to see weither their Japanese cars are better the the Germans..
