I read German as well, if you need an item on Ebay translated let me know, i can help. I have bought clusters, business radios, engine parts from there. You can use Google - Languages as well - but some of that doesnt make sense, its kind of like PIg German

How did the theives get the keys? You cant start an E39 with an OE immobiliser without the key? Thats true int it??
-
Does anyone know how to remove thebottom shell bit thingy on the seats of a 5er? E39 with all the buttons on it for seat adjustments
-
Reasonably nice car but overpriced ... This would have ASC or DSC? Its not heavily spec'ed IMO and for that price you can get a NZ new for few more km's than this one. Those wheels are reps, not genuine alpina's. I would save you pennies and wait for something better

SOLD! For $14,990

Hey bro... I got your text. Your seals are letting air in causing condensation, check your seals or use silicone to patch up the gaps.

Beautiful car ...I would leave as it is ... Euro plates?
-
They said wait for it to cure (3 weeks) its abeen 3.5 weeks and still no difference. These guys also punctured the leather around the doors - they fixed it off course. Tintacar Henderson seem to be clowns and are rough as, I will use their warranty but maybe at a difference branch. Or I may request a refund, that why I was wondering who does the best tints?
-
Who does the best tint in Auckland?? I just got my windows on the 5 tinted at Tintacar and its absolute crap. Big bubbles on rear window, little bubbles on sides, rip at top driver side. I want a clean looking tint thats looks profess. Recommendations?

Has anyone retrofitted a standard rear view mirror to a autodim mirror? My question is ... The car Im looking at doing it too has the red dome below the mirror - infrared for keyless entry as we all know. If I replace it with a autodim with the red dome/infra red locking with blinking LED inside to show its immobilised ... will the keyless locking still work or will I need to get it coded/confiqured?

It looks like this is sold, the new buyer is getting report from McMillan so that relaxes me, no more AA reports!!!. Im gonna this as my Daily driver ..... The AA said this car has been lowered unprofessionally compared to the usual E36 sedan .... I said its a motorsport/M spec etc?? ... he said whats that???
-
Its a germanplates.com plate, the UK style but with the D on the left not GB. Police problems - yes, they keep harrassing me with thinking its a German car with Germa rego. I saw a Aston marton in town with them on that too - he too has problems but we have never been told to removed them

It will go this time..everyone wants to pay $13,000 so here we go .... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=104548622

Very true .. but who do you believe about the transmission?? Team McMillan say its ok, nothing wrong with it. AA - believe it is fukd??
-
A buyer had arranged the AA to come and have my car checked out ... The AA guy was fukn rude, no respect for me on my property or with BMW's - said they are a waste of money and always break down. Anyway ... watching him do his 75 minute inspection in 50 minutes was scary - he had the car on a tilt in the driveway so high the rims were touching the pavement ... man did I tell him off. Secondly, he had grease marks in interior and on bonnet Thirdly, he pulled the sterring hoses around and one was out of place - then noted on report they were leaking ... Im not fukn surprised!! He then told the potential buyer the transmission was fukd and needed replacing!! He said also the mag wheels are ilegal and cause the car to go all over the place ... and the steering hoses needed replacing. After I heard all this I then took the car to Team McMillan and have them have a look at it: Transmission is fine - nothing wrong with it Steering hoses - someone has tampered with them since last inspection ... ahh lets see .. AA? I now have to fix the steering hoses - Thanks AA inspector Wheels - car is at shock shop this morning, will be insteresting. We did a test on a Nissan Primera that has bad brake shimmy, transmission is on its way out, bumpers are out of alignment etc ... AA inspected it - their conclusion was bad brakes, leaking oil in engine bay. Transmission is ok. OK!!!??!! what the fuk is wrong with these people??!!? He claims (different inspectors) the transmission is wrong in the Bimmer but not on the Nissan?? Has anyone experienced the same from these guys? Completely incompetant, untrusting people. Team McMillan have been awesome lately and cant understand why AA would do such a thing... No wonder car dealers dont like em. PS - BUY NOW HAS DROPPED I told the buyer to get JC etc to look at it, not AA.

To me Navman and all those "on top of dash mounted units" are too tacky ... I too would prefer OE as Jochen is explaining here. But I did find this by Pioneer... looks classy, background colors can change to orange/red: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/p...etailsComponent Not sure if NZ can support it?? -
Reserve on this baby has been lowered ... There needs to be someone out there who needs a E36 to mod, this ones perfect. Why spend $14,000 when you have to replace all the Jap parts on it to Genuine. Someone make me a offer http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=101923539

THE PROBLEM IS FREEDOM, ADOLESENCE,COMBINED WITH IRRESPONSIBILITY Thats pretty much it ..

I must be getting old too .. I dont get the sweet sounds of this Timberlake guy??

Heres my 2C, Ban the sh*t, when I was under 20 yeah I did that too, but we did it in the bush/industrial areas where there were no families, houses, people sleeping, children and dogs and cats ... in other words back in the early/mid 90's we had RESPECT. These days, its like these guys have no fu*king brains and just do what they want and where they want ... and they are going to pass a "anti smacking bill" as well, what the fu*k is wrong with this country??? Under 20 years old now - NO RESPECT. Dont get me wrong - there are alot of under 20 year olds who what their doing, ones that drive Euro's - but not ones pimed out like jappas with a muffler as big as a Kauri tree and their car pumping out 90BHP. In Auz, USA, Canada it aint like it is here because the government is too busy forking money out to unemployed people and single mums and suckers like me pay for them!! And cops/government are too insterested in sending taxis out to Piha in emergencies, getting out DIC charges themselves instead of protecting the streets. New Zealand needs to harden the F**k up and start setting some rules: 1. Compulsary insurance, a least Third party and must be displayed on windshield. 2. Under 20 year olds - no motor car higher than 1600cc / no turbo / supercharger etc 3. Have a licence system like Australia - learners for fu**ing ages, then P's, then black, silver, gold 4. Any drag race in a residential area at 2.00am etc disturbing others - arrest all spectators, drivers suspended for 3 months instantly / impound car / Big ass fine 5. Those drivers who have spent all their money on boost, turbo, oil gauges displayed on their dash with a car that cant push sh*t up a hill and try to think their in WRC - bin them and get a real car. 6. - I have no problem with having fun with cars, drifting, race wars etc .... but just have some respect!! be reponsible about it, drag outside rural areas and use their brain While were at at ... When I catch these cun*s that tag my fence, can I take him down the lake and ...
