If you were handy with a welder it wouldn't take much work.. I'm pretty sure you are able to just do the work yourself and get it ticked off by someone who are give repair certs.
-
I've never got one with slave cylinders either.
-
This guy never fails to impress. When he told me he was gonna do it I didn't know to believe him or not... but he did... he's nuts. If any of you guys are familiar with kiwibiker.co.nz he will be a very familiar face

S85b50 is 240kg, heavy. To compare M20 = 258lbs 117kg M50 = 299lbs 136kg S50 = 335lbs 152kg

They are like $40 brand new or something like that. Just go new. Not sure if they will have one in stock though...

Get him a Holset HX45
-
Compress them then get a propane torch and heap them up. Done =D. ( dont do this )
-
My mates old e30 had a set of compressed springs in the back, they were fine ( they never cracked or anything ) but yeah... whats the point when you can get a new set of springs for piss all.

He wanted to see what was faster, his or Troys. Surprisingly it was actually pretty close.
-
Do dragons tick heaps? Because if so, I'm pretty sure there is one getting its boogy on under my valve cover.
-
You know whats good? Went for a hoon in Kerrys car today. Coolest e30 I can think of.

Everything looks good doing a burnout!

So here are some pics of where it's at now. Missing the front valence because I kept ripping it off, Im gonna cable tie that sucker on. Also i put my seat in it. It's pretty low in the front, so I'm thinking of getting some bigger spring pads or something..
-
He's da man. It's obviously a joke so good on him. The blow off valve out the front is just class if you ask me.

I've done that defensive driving course twice now. Once for my car licence and one for my motorcycle licence. I basically slept through it all. Silly thing is, even if you are doing it to get 6 months off your motorcycle licence you still have to go and drive around town in a car with the instructor... and i had had my full car licence for 4 years..

Just keep searching Shady. I got mine for $1200, and after fixing the rust / paint, putting a manual in it, and doing the cambelt ( work in progress ) I still haven't spent over $3000. It came with mean sounds and was reasonably unbutchered.

They are all easy jobs but they are all f'ing annoying as well when ya under the car lying no concrete!

You'd have to find out. It's off an M50b25.
-
Exhaust studs always come out, it should just screw back in again.
-
You said the hanger bearing was not on it's propper mounts. I'd say its not lined up. Why cant you mount it properly?
-
Get one from Mosens. I have one of an M50 which you can have if it fits but I am unsure if they do. Troy and/or I could put it in for some beers. EDIT: Hit two birds with one stone and get your girlfriend an m40 alternator for 1 year anniversary prezzy.

Hey hey. Welcome to BS. What factory stuff are ya thinking of changing?
-
