Everytime I have tried to bleed an m20 i open the bleed screw but nothing comes out, its just there for show im sure

I e30 i just bought has no thermostat. Just gets off the blue. It's getting near the top of my 'to do' list.

Yea but they are designed ( i think ) so if they brake the spring pushes the thermostat fully open, causing them to flow all the time.

If the thermostat is faulty / stuffed they are designed for stuff out to make the car run cold, not hot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Replace the temp sensor for the gauge maybe? Or just swap one off that wreck you have out front....

If it's as straight as it looks than that was a great price...

$4500 max for me because its auto.

Ok ive already had PM's of people wanting to buy this. ITS A JOKE!!! We chopped it in half with an axe. I just installed a new short shifter kit, this is the original. Nobody got my joke.... =P EDIT: if you want a shifter kit, I just got one off SIR E30.

I've found him to be knowledgable and helpful to others, okay he told a guy to get his e30 scanned because it was overheating. I'm pretty sure everyone would of realised it was a joke. I had a bit of a lol. He was being a d*ck, just to get a reaction. Considering the whole "get it scanned" thing has been over used until the cows come home means, I think, it's over. Your decision....

Picked up clutch and flywheel today. Got the flywheel lightened at Hydralink ( i think its called ). I think possibly they could of taken a bit more meat off it, but it's all good. I got the clutch, pressure plate, bearings, and machining at Waikato Clutch and Brake. Those guys are awesome, they are quick and know what they are talking about, and a reasonably good price too. Picking up car from paint shop this afternoon, manual this weekend. Hopefully sorting a short shifter through SIR E30. ****.

I wouldn't want to spend more than $1000 on that all up really.
