Picked this heap of junk up the other month. 1986 e28 525e SUPAH ETA ( I think its just eta but whatever ) Big power m20oildrainer Custom disconnection muffler Sweet as boat suspension which I think is actually in all good condish Original Tape Deck * wew * Came with 13 beers, 1 key broken in Ignition 1 f**ked sunroof handle 145 shrooms -300% Brake pads Warped Disks 1 John Lee Hooker Cassette Tape ( Mint condish ) Enough of that, some pics. With wheels & Makita 1 ways ( Dont crucify me ) A trip to Mt Hutt and a cheeky rock destroyed my sump and exhaust so its been off the road for a couple weeks. Finally got it going yesterday Have added a tidy factory exhaust Re-gapped Rockers Sump/exhaust gaskets Got Sump welded new drop links rust free sunroof Red Tails Yellow Highs/fogs And a full set of factory suspension so I can go 4wding... So a few things left to do, New Rear brake disks Muffler strap so it doesnt bang around Wof n Reg fix sunroof handle Give it a good clean, wax, polish etc. Looking at coilovers, but due to welding I duno if I can be f**ked as I never plan on certing it anyway. Finally got the e28 all back together, drove it down the road, didnt catch fire and the exhaust didnt fall off. Im a happy man.

Not a BMW but a local guy here just bought a 2000something transit with 900,000ks on the clock. Ex Post vehicle apparently serviced every 10,000ks or 2 weeks..

I think the flywheel skim thing is a myth. I slapped a new clutch on an old ( 180,000ks ) flywheel and it did atleast 5000ks before I sold it and it bit up hard, Havent heard anything from new owner either and he only lives down the street.
