Weird. My car is an outside car. Always has been. Had the lights out recently for a proper polish and there was no moisture in them. But that does look like a silly design. So why do some do it and others not? Was the water stagnant like it had been there a long time? Or was it filled up in a single rain storm? Also is Valeo OEM or OE?

Honestly you are better off with the Android unit. The factory upgrades are a pain in the ass and usually already well out of date. Wireless Apple car play via one of the android units. Or if you love the crap OG screen you can get a plug in apple car play unit that uses the screen. Great features. But you are using the OG screen..

Interesting articles. They reference the Katy Highway in TX. Been on that Highway a number of times. What a total nightmare of a road. Though I do love the Buc Ee's gas station there with its 120 odd gas pumps. I do wonder how new roading in developing rural areas is effected by induced demand though. The population here already is near totally reliant on vehicles. As the public transport is virtually non existent. Many of the schools are poorly placed. Either on SH2 or it's bypasses. Meaning kids are transported to school via car/bus. The school traffic here is horrendous. Really the conclusion is this will continue and we will forever be chasing our tail.

Has traffic now returned to the insane for our population levels? Or is it especially bad? The roadworks and speed limit changes in my region are so bad I am actually considering catching the train to Wellington for work. NZTA is just choking the Wairarapa. All the politicians current and future are against the changes yet NZTA is doing whatever they want.

Ah nice. They have a good selection for older vehicles.

I did have two pairs of them. I put the other pair on my M325i. The crossover part numbers are listed here. One of them must be a BMW part number. Cross References: 0280560 1305354901 1305354933710 1369336 246058 280560 75186 88881500024 W01331629776

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Driftit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Haha I saw these earlier. Was going to question shame them. But then I wondered if they knew that and had listed them at a hold price. -
Could be different for the M325i's? Need to look at RealOEM.
-
I forgot to list these here. If you are interested I can do them for $250 + shipping for Bimmersporters. These are no longer available from Bosch. Only for those looking for OEM parts really. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/exterior/listing/4075672008?bof=qxR3zBye

Make good sim seats. $300 is a steal.

Was thinking of chucking my staggered set up for around $3500. Or listing them in the US market.

ISTA+ is a free download usually. If you paid for it it usually means they are hosting the file or are willing to provide support in getting it going. https://www.bimmerfest.com/threads/beginners-guide-to-bmw-ista.936877/

I have a full set of rockers, retainers and springs from a 80,000km motor you could have for $100 + shipping. I wouldn't be able to get a courier out until Tuesday though. Easter Weekend.

Getting car shipped from Whangamata to Wellington?
Driftit replied to Kodachrome's topic in Off-Topic
Yeah that will be a small transporter collecting and taking it to Hamilton first. -
Does Tom still have his one? It was a beautiful car. I loved seeing it at the track.

AirBNB is dead. The Hotel industry beat it to near death. Then scammers and ripoffs finished it off. You just can't trust the platform. That and I spent too much time on Reddit reading stories of people being robbed by people who have copied keys etc.

And you need to be very careful where you stay. Many of the cheaper Motels are still being used and abused as emergency housing. And you do not want to be staying in or anywhere near them. Especially in places like Rotorua.

Get Kodi and borrow a mates SkyGo details. Maybe pay some of their bill to cover it. There are no issues with shared accounts with Kodi + SkyGo. Too many subpar subscriptions in NZ to see the few shows that are worth watching. So glad Plex and Kodi are a thing.

There is a complete road worthy registered E87 for $4000 in the for sale section.

I didn't know Johnah Hill from Super Bad did rage reviews. He missed the shitty fuel flap that slaps around on windy roads.
-
Highly recommend. The servicing on my one has been minimal. I think the only time it actually failed was when one of the fuel pumps died which is actually a common issue.

Just ran into the AMG tyre eating issue. The old man never mentioned it to me and I put it down to towing the race car around as that is how I used the car the most. I think the last set of tyres did less than 15,000kms and the inside edges of both the fronts and rears were done. But not due to poor alignment like too much toe out. Then I started googling. Number one complaint for AMG's haha. After full time in the E55 I think I need to have a go in a C63 at some stage.

$13500ono.. wow. Would rather the Blue one on here and $9500 to spend. Must be early 2000's Alpine prices.

Yeah two years ago. You should have had it done by now. The wait was 4 months if I recall correctly. They kept running out of the part world wide. Turns out there must be a few N52's about. https://www.bmw.co.nz/en/topics/offers-and-services/personal-services/bmw-recall/all-other-recalls.html
