Anyone know who to contact when a DHL package has been sitting in NZ without delivery since the 26th? The DHL investigation process is next to useless. First time I have had issues with DHL. But of course it is the NZ side of things. It left Germany and arrived in NZ in just over a day.... Maybe the courier here is still navigating the potholes on SH1.

Youngins at work are already doing that with clothing out of China using panadabuy. Working well for them. Nerds (including me) are buying computer parts from Microcenter and having people bring everything back to avoid bad shipping and GST. Quite some savings going on.

Spareto uses DHL btw. And they are not just BMW. Ordered a whole lot of parts for our 200SX. As the 200SX actually exists in the same format in the EU.

Spareto.com have been getting parts to me in just over a week. From Estonia! My recent order from chemist warehouse took 10 days from Auckland. Spareto.com does have various spring and shock options.

I've just had a large part of my E55 resprayed by a friend who runs a panel shop. It is black. It was very difficult to match the paint. If they had gone by the code it would not have looked good at all. It took a bit of effort to get the hood which is alloy to match the bumper which is plastic (they meet in a number of spots on an E55). The painter can still see a mismatch but I can't anymore.

They will never tow anything. It will crawl along in Auckland traffic delivering bits that would fit in the boot of a hatch back. Anything bigger would go by courier.

An E30 powered by a S50B32 and slicks is what you need. I did enjoy bullying the Porsche cup cars in James E30 at Puke track in the dark.

I sometimes feel left out that I don't like them visually. Even as a kid I didn't like them. I think it is trauma from those Herbie movies in the 80s.

I think you could expand this scenario to all E30's.

It does indeed sound like a bleeding issue. They can be a pain to bleed. Especially if you have changed the heater core. Have you tried priming the heater core? Disconnect the hoses and jam the garden hose into it. Run water through it while slightly restricting the outlet so it builds a little pressure. I've done this to a couple of cars. If you have an airlock the thermostat may never open. If you suspect the heater core is still the problem you can join the two hoses bypassing it. Test to see if it is still occurring. Also have you replaced the viscous fan clutch? If not you should.

NZ new ones are nearly always poverty spec.

Just about every E87 I see has been abused. Just like the E36's and E46's of years gone. Soon it will be just the loved ones left and the price may go back up. Or they will be forced off the market by a government acting like we are as rich as Norway. Why aren't you all buying 100K Tesla's yet guys? FYI. Be very careful with exhaust volume. At the Police Officers discretion they can Pink Sticker your car for excessive noise. If this occurs you will be required to undergo an official noise test. Once completed you are then required to certify your exhaust. Even if you do all this you are still at the mercy of the Police Officers discretion in the future. They are not bound by your new cert at all and require no proof. Was recently reading a story in a unofficial certification help page of someone who just went through all this. Even changing back to a stock exhaust did not help and they still needed to follow the process to remove the green sticker. Cops are using it in a way to temporarily get vehicles off the road loud or not.

Is there a mod or way to replace the breather/oil separator on LCI 130i's without having to replace the entire cover? Mine is blocked and causing oil leaks. Found it.
