No, car was stuck on a hoist while they were being swapped, have put the old ones on some spare rims for a rainy day!

got a pair of nice shiny new pilot sport 4s for the back of the M5, unfortunately the M5 is still up on a hoist trying to get the ABS fault sorted so i can't try them out until tomorrow. ?

IS an Alpina B10 though...

I got quoted over 3k from BMW for a towbar for my E61, so I assume these would be similar.

It will sound terrible, be illegal, and make you a police magnet, but if you are dead set on doing it there isn't much to it, buy some straight pipe, probably 2.25 or 2.5 inch, buy some bends that match, cut off the factory exhaust and weld some pipe on. It is a bit of work getting past the diff / back axle but if you are going to have an illegal exhaust anyway why not just poke it out the side in front of a back wheel!!

picked up an ABS unit for the M5, will get it swapped on Monday and send my unit away to get repaired.

okay, fixed the misfire in the M5, still not sure how, swapped the ionic detection modules and the misfire didn't move so swapped the coils on cyl 6 & 7, misfire is gone! I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Put 2 new coils and 2 new air filters in, on top of 10 new spark plugs, now have a misfire cylinder 6 code coming up so tomorrow i will play a game of "Swap the ionic current detection modules" to see if i can diagnose this, fun fun fun.
