hey guys, off season is coming so need to get some bits for the racecar. so far i am in need of the following, chrome rear bumper and mounts, condition of chrome not important as long as its straight. e30 race series front springs. (the king spring race series style.) Edit: e30 bonnet, colour and paint not important so long as its straight, pref local. radiator to suit e30 (i think e36 ones fit.) that has the collant tank on the side of it, top hose on driver side, bottom hose on passenger side a spare door, or guard condition does not matter at all, free is good. will update as i remember more bits. cheers oli

no that was my friend with the m54 e30, i was the guy who spent most of the day under the bonnet of it, and some of the day on the tyre wall at the hairpin.

^idle is for girls... imo just shell out the $$$ for a good computer, like a link. that way it will cost you quite abit more but you can keep that computer and put it behind any motor you decide to build. as for the itb,s buy them throw it on and see what you want to do in terms of tuning, if all goes pair shaped you could sell them on trademe easily enough and probably cover nearly all of ur costs

didnt realise you were there. was a wicked day, just turned into a big drifting session

^exactly, ecu = fuel control.
-
^fuel systems and boost increase are the usual ways to increase the power of diesels. so much can be gained by little improvements to fuel timing, pilot injection etc etc. also variable vain turbos seem to go well with diesel motors, they can also improve power hugely with f.a lag.

^nath 1st one no... second one, pretty sure they are not required but may pay to check 1st.
-
sometimes if they are worn enough the shifter will drop a little causing it to rub on the drive shaft around 3rd and that, does that sound like your noise?
-
people just have silly ideas of what second hand shits worth... (eh shady..) but a mint e30 dash is worth no more than $250.
-
yep keen for a plate, maybe a set aswell..
-
ok, the plan is to do a roady, napier, gizzy, tga, auckland, and wherever after that, can anyone tell me the places to go around those areas?
