you didnt wire it up to an ews wire by any chance? lol jk try using a multimeter to make sure youve got a good power and acc source, also make sure your ground is good. mabey even try putting the acc wire on the constant and see if that helps?

yeah 1st time ive tried, i will delete it and try again. edit, re installed. still the same, if i put an incorrect password it tells me straight away, however when all the details are correct it just scrolls.

i can lend a hand too if you want, easy to do, and a very usefull tip, soak the middle removable rubber peice in boiling water before refitting, makes the job 10 times easier.

^can come in around rear tail lights, or boot seal, then it can trace forwards under the rear seat and into the footwell. take out your boot carpet and trim etc, and shut yourself in there with a torch while someone hosepipes all over the rear screen, boot, lights etc etc.

studid question i know, but how does a 4.0l bmw v8 compare to an m20b25 in terms of fuel? looking at a new car but having not owned a v8 before im not exactly sure how much more i should expect to pay in gas.. double? tripple? can anyone shed some light? (ps the m20b25 doesnt get nanad around, where as the v8 MAY POSSIBLY be driven slightly more sedate.)

a mini just got a wad of tickets down my street the other day. ( residence parking) council laying new curb outide, the same one that cracked the front of my car. so the mini parked on the road out the way of the workmen. i went to uni... came back, saw several tickets on it, one ticket for not having residence parking, (this car normaly parks in a driveway) one for not having a current wof, from the outside you could not tell as it was punched for the current month (last month) and then i think the guy came back and got him again for still being on the road, as there were 2 parking infringment tickets.. poor mini owner.. what a twat of a parking officer.

ahk, that makes more sence. i must say though, some of your posts can be quite confusing... glad you chose the bmw though. you will be glad you did in later years. ohh and from my experience, i found either 19s or 20s look the best on e46's 18s just dont fill the guards enough.

while hes "checking it out" you should get the spanner to wind your boost up to 35psi and put the screamer pipe back in through the window just so you can hear it better, also while your at it, get him to install a stupidly big front mount, throw out the front bumper, throw out the springs, put on some 52" chromes mount the seat on a gangster lean and get a new roof. but really. if its really cheap its probs for a good reason.
