Imo unless its a serious race car in a competitive series I wouldn't bother taking anything out. You will loose comfort an d gain such little power you would never notice it
-
depends which side of the plug you need, i have the loom side but not the ecu side
-
a day is pushing it buy yourself, i would allow a complete weekend for it to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances. essentially its just a case of removing auto trans, trans cooler, driveshaft, brake pedal, fit manual trans, driveshaft, clutch components. ( i have found its easier to remove the clutch and brake pedals from the pedal box rather than trying to swap the entire pedal box.)

^yeah, you could repower it with a m20 and run it on mega squirt...

Hey guys, have some gear out of my race car for sale m20b25 engine, rebuilt back to factory specs by me has done approx 20k since rebuild, rebuild consisted of new rings, bearings, decked block, crack tested crank weighed pistons rods etc, was all so close there was no need to balance it, new valve springs, rockers, valves, valve seats, 272 fast street cam. computer is chipped and runs 7k rpm all day running motronic 1.3 car dynod at 108kw atw. dont have recipts for rebuild or for dyno cost me $3500 in parts just for rebuild motor $1500 exhaust system with wayneys headers, going into a 2 1/4" system. $500 getrag 240 box, all in working order. i have never opened the box but it still works fine, also comes with a 6kg balanced flywheel and a unsprung 5puk clutch and heavy duty clutch clamping cover. $250 for just box $350 with clutch and flywheel also have a 4.1 ratio med case e30 lsd, in good condition no oil leaks, diff has been apart and checked over. still standard lock up. $800 you all know what these bits look like so i havent put up any pictures. if you want more info message me cheers oli

Broken engine mount allowed the motor to move too the left, then the alternator got hungry and started munching on the bottom hose

^for your purposes would it not be better to leave it out?

just plumb the turbo in as normal but instead of going from the intercooler to the intake manifold plumb it straight into your dash so then you dont have to use your aircon.. no aircon=less gas.... duhhh
