yeh that would go well but i would really like to stick with a bmw 6 cyl. which would end up being the better motor? not worring about budgets at this point. a m20 or m50?

yeh i didnt think they would be cheap. well i want to start building up a moster engine for my e30. no rush. will take a couple of years to do in quiet weekends. the plan is to make a insane engine. turbo. blueprinted. stroked. balanced. itbs. link. forged internals. the works. what do you think would be the best bang for buck? maby a m50 or m52????

hey guys. i am working on a e28 for a friend. he has cooked it and warped the head and i suspect closed up the piston rings also. i need to put some quotes together so i need an idea of a price for a 2nd hand motor its a 1983 520i it has the m20 block in it. i plan to use the origianal manifolds so would just need the tall block. also need a new thermostat housing and a radiator. prices would be ausum thanks.

sorry to confuse. i will just drain my catch can every now and then. no point in returning it. i was talking about the oil line for the turbo in the top of the sump

dont really know what they're worth so make an offer of what you would pay for them. and they're 5 stud and came off an e46 so i dont see why not

its a beemer..... need i say more? 500k the motors only just in its prime. it could probably knock out another 500k

i've had 2 e30s one a 2 litre and one a 2.5 and they've both been pretty crap on gas. 400k to a 60l tank is a lot more than what i've ever got. what kind of e30 is it? does it run rough at all or does it sit under temp on the temp gauge? also is there much smoke out the back of it? also if your gauge is reading inacuratly check the plug in the back of the insrument cluster. reach up behind it and pull on the wires and see if it moves. this happend to my friends car. it turned out to be the cable tie holding the wires to the plug was infact pulling the plug out slightly. also check the contacts at the sender end too

no i meant the top of the sump on the driver side. just below where the oil filter usualy sits???? would it drain properly or would i need a scavange pump?

im asuming ur running a 12" return line? seeing as its sitting lower than the turbo i cant see it causing a issue realy. and yeh it already is black. i just sprayed it the other day. some pics would be cool if you could. cheers

have a set of 4 on almost new eagle f1 tyres. wheels are in exelent condition. need to sell them as they are taking up space. anything considered

have just got my intercooler. its of a mitsi gsr. it fits in behind the kindey grille but because of the pipe outlets the only way to mount it is on an angle.... owell it cant be seen will get sum pictures of it soon. yeh and i wasnt planning on running anything over six until i get a link. but low boost is better than nothing

modern cars are very complicated in terms of electrical and module stuf. if the asc module is not comunicating with the diagnostic tester the chances are that its gunna be technical. your best bet is to give it to jeff gray with a big check on the passenger seat. either that or if the light hasnt come on again since. dont wory about it
