local body elections need to be reformed. Even if a mayoral candidate was voted in by 100% voter take up , they are just a figure head with 1 vote on the board. and no power what's needed in my opinion is a party/group/Team, kinda like the general elections without the MMP factor with the power to sack/fire those that are making poor decisions . The bureaucrats that sit in the background for years glad-handing their way up the corporation ladder should have to under go KPI's ( the bigger the paycheque the tougher the kpi's ) every 2years or get sacked. And because its basically a publicly owned company/corporation, how and where the money was spent should be freely available on their website in a easy to understand format. every cent. At the moment they set a budget and go about spending our money. eg. parks get a big slice of the pie, millions. but is doesn't breakdown how that money was spent. its just in the budget.

theres room for improvement, john. same trick as the last time I ripped off the splitter. to fast into turn 1 coming up behind a slower car went to go around the outside he moved over a touch and I dropped a wheel off the ripple strip closing the gap between the road and the splitter from 50mm to -60 something like that.

carbon fibre roof, cut out the parcel self in the back, clean off all the underseal under the car. I only got 1.3 seconds up my sleeve before I have to move into group A and that's a whole different ball game.

new season has arrived 2019-2020. Hampton downs best lap 1.14.3 race 1 wrecked my front splitter in Qualifying. spent the last week, 10 days fixing the car. problems..... spraying oil from the dipstick (I think), silicon to see if that works . cut an extra 20mm out of the rear guards to see if that stops the rubbing. ( softened up the rear shocks so there's more roll in the body) . fiberglassing up the front. I finished all 3 races, car was outstanding. driver has room to improve. ill add the car with me and a full tank of gas weighs 1266kgs

Off season update.... so today I spent the day in the workshop/garage finishing off the new front splitter. 50mm smaller than the first one. Ordered a new set of brake pads with a compound BP30 from wildwood . got know idea how this will pan out , but what I got now is hard work. clutch stop ... the big one thou is the ass end has dropped 25mm . I've taken off/out the 2 adjustable rings that sit on top of the spring. Rack is now ?% If I measure distance from the jack points to the ground , fronts is 140mm rear is 150mm. I've manipulated the inner guards again , this time with adjustable pliers and a hammer no grinder. the picture with my hand flat, before the guard was near the top of my fingers, now I can get 4 fingers in it. 3.5 maybe Glad I have removable fiberglass guards.
