-
What condition are the dizzy cap and rotor in?
-
But neither of them are that ugly lol
-
I had a similar problem on my car and it turned out that the H.T lead was loose in the spark plug socket, if you get what i mean?
-
Ive got some front superlows that i want to sell. I want $100 for them though. They sit at 105mm. Heres a pic
-
I doubt you will get any for $70 dude
-
BMW also supply Triumph car parts aswell
-
Whats the reason for changing the camshaft? Is it worn out or broken?
-
I would be interested in a set if they get nade in e30 fitment
-
Dude just sell the car before you wreck it and/or waste your money
-
Its only the stealers that have ridiculous prices. Most places like BNT have decent prices. Most 2nd hand parts are not expensive either if you know where to look.

I thought the block had different engine mounting points in the 5 series?

I was talking about the front suspension.

Looking At Buying a Porsche 911

My Dads keen on a 964 now. the 3.2 carerra would be too old and unreliable -
The Herald suspension is used on all sorts of thigs and theres nothing wrong with it. Its a good reliable double wishbone set up that was used on the Lotus 7s and most other specials of the day
-
Ive heard that McGregors are good cars. That Almac has ugly guards! Other than that looks great
-
He means rockers i think. It could be the injectors If its a rumble it could be the gearbox berings or release bearing.
-
Bearings??? lol

My Dads got a genuine Series 4 Lotus 7 And it is a wicked car. Black with gold Superlites. They are quite fiddly to work on and to drive (the pedal box is unbelievably cramped). But still a DIY car. I saw that locost with the subaru flat four in it that looked a good price. A 4AGE would be an awesome engine to have. Ive heard that Chevrons should be avoided also. Frasers are by far the best replicas around this part of the world.

Thanks for all your replys. Yea he would definately get it checked out buy a specialist. As for the M Coupe he thinks there ugly lol. His minds definately set on a 911 and the 964 doesnt have that cool retro loo of the Carerra. That buyers guide is realy helpfull -
They came out awesome dude. Where do they sell that titanium filler?
-
Are those jamex lows?

My Dad is selling his motorhome in the next few months and wants a 911, hes got a budget of 30-40k. We're looking at an 84-89 3.2 Carrera or possibly a 89-93 964. It needs to be a manual rather than a tiptronic and not a targa top or vert http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=249234270 This is a realy tidy example but this model only has 230 odd horsepower and Dads worried it will be abit gutless. It would be great if you could add some of your opinions or suggestions Cheers, Chris
