How do you get "beamer" from bimmer? Do you use a "deemer" to adjust the brightness of your dash lights? A quick Google reveals that they say bimmer in the UK and the owner of bimmerforums.com confirms the site name is pronounced "bimmer" not "beamer".

Not a bad buy for 3k there! A few cosmetic enhancements and it'll look great. I see the ugly taillights have gone already! If it's losing power at the top end the cam is probably worn and the head might need a rebuild... do the tappets tick quite loudly especially at high revs?

Wow... nice car. But why would you advertise it with a photo of you having just completed a massive tyre-melting burnout. Can't be good for an engine that's been in storage for 6 years.

Most likely the water pump. But it could be a number of different things... (Thermostat, viscous fan etc) You really shouldn't have kept driving after it started to overheat, hopefully you haven't caused any damage to the head. Have the car towed to a reputable BMW mechanic and get them to check it out for you.

Yeah, I bought my old E36 from that yard... and the guy who sold it to me showed me your car out the back and mentioned the X5 wheels. Just put 2+2 together. Be good to see you at the next meetup... the few E36 boys need some company.

It's a dealer listing. All dealers (especially hicktown used car dealers) think that because it's a BMW it's worth megabucks. Sad thing is, there's usually a muppet out there who's prepared to pay the asking price!

They want to make you take leave because unused leave appears a debt on their books. It's paid leave, so why not just take a holiday? Or, if you like you could simply take Mondays or Fridays off for the next few months and enjoy the luxury of 3 day weekends. That's what a lot of colleagues at my workplace are doing.
