They weren't 3 piece though... (future's so bright I've gotta wear shades)

I think this car is a Jap import 325i with the M3 engine and running gear swapped into it. It was for sale on TM a while ago. The conversion had been done in Japan. Is it a Chch car? Bairds Collision Centre is a Chch business.

Spent 2 hours detailing the car last weekend.... had just finished the final touch on the right rear quarter with the Instant detailer, looked up and saw the cat sitting on the roof, a trail of muddy pawprints leading from the edge of the bonnet, up the windscreen and onto the roof. Shithead cat!

I think thats the cover for right hand side by the centre console. Sits vertically if you catch my drift.

I imagine that the way she has worded the auction, she is rhyming her name with the Nintendo Wii (wee) game console.

Had the E30 for just over 2 months. ATM, I'll keep it forever.... or until I can afford an E30 M3.

Hahahah, on the passenger side! ROFL!. A glvoebox shouldn't have any wires!!!???

M badges are cheap. Took one off mine. Real M325i's are two door. Andrew's is a nice 325i (without the ///M) nonetheless.

The E30 318is was a runout model to compete with the Golf GTI and Peugeot 106 of the era. It used the M42 engine from the about to be released E36. It has 325i brakes and suspension all round, the unique interior and iS front lip. Around 25 were brought into the country.... apparently about 15 of those are still running. So quite a rare car. There is a dedicated 318is forum on the net, can't remember what it's called.... should be found with a quick Google.

Nice... that bodes well for the other E30 sellers on here!

Dammit... anyone have this supposingly hilarious auction cached in their browser?

Have you seen this? P/fl with tech I kit... leather etc. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....=M325i+oldskool

Here's a pic of my old E36 when it was used as my Aunt's wedding car in Queenstown.

Nice buy... you're in Chch yes? Saw this car on TM... looked pretty tidy, was thinking about buying it for my girlfriend. Needs the lip for the front and take those headlight covers off... they're very "old man". Make sure you come along to the next Chch meet and say hi.

Still have bits from my E36 laying around in the garage. Bought various parts for the E30 that I haven't got around to installing yet (stereo, badges, interior trim etc etc). I've also pulled things apart that I haven't bought replacement parts for too! There's a taped hole where the aerial was, also have pulled most of my dash to bits to replace the OBC lights and heater controls etc. I think I'm just lazy really!

BMW E30 Coupe 1989 Ca18det 5spd (FULL CERT)
Mark replied to drifty325i's topic in TradeMe discussions
Won't have an LSD from factory on the 318i. He could mean that he's put a factory BMW LSD in the car. If it still has the puny 318 suspension setup that'll need to be looked at too. IMO: Don't do it ATTA! An E30 deserves to have a straight six in it or a V8... not a sneezing Nissan four pot! -
It's an earthing issue I believe.

Woah! I likey.

Have seen it done... will have to dig out my copy of Total BMW that has the Tech II coupe with M3 cab interior. I stand corrected on the M3 rear seat fitting a sedan (or do I?)
-
M-Tech kits are IMPOSSIBLE to find in the States... that's why when a guy from Europe posts up his teched E30 to Bimmerforums everyone leg humps the sh*t out of him.

An E30 convertible interior will fit into a coupe. Have seen it done before. All you'll need are the rear side panels from the coupe (as the convertible ones have speaker holes drilled in them) and the c-pillar trims.
