Good stuff. How do you get a car so shiney? lol
-
I would go vodafone, But everyone around here is telecom. Suckkks.
-
Is it the dude who has GTS-T rear end stuff in his 13b turbo e30?
-
Boy am I glad I stuck to the CDMA telecom network.

1.3 swap is pretty straight forward. You'll need these 1.3 loom ECU AFM (maybe?) front crank sensor and the toothed crank wheel Fuel rail, FPR, all the dizzy and coil etc are already there. TPS are the same. I wouldn't try pulling that back piece off either it's a b*itch of a job..

But if it was a year later, pretty much you left the rego out for a year so you owe them for roughly a year until you had it de-regd in 09. If it was on hold 08-09 then that would mean you wouldn't have to pay it.

Or open the fill hole. If oil pours out then it was overfilled. The car needs to be level when you do this, You are supposed to fill the gearbox in the car until oil reaches the fill hole, anymore and it would pour out. it's roughly 1.25L IIRC.

You can get all the obd1 sensors and bits and run it with obd1 and non vanos cams.

^ I agree. Get an m50 NV. Such a piss easy swap. If you ever went to boost later on the NV motors are better in that area too.

I might pull the struts out and take them back i think.. Same shop is going to be shortening some rear shocks for me and also making the steering bush so I'll do it all in one go and have the welds cleaned up or re-done then have them checked to make sure its sufficient and strong.. Cos with them winded right up, the car is sitting just under 100mm lol. Right down it would probably go to like 60mm.

After a pair of Bilstein sport shocks for my e30. Must be in good or mint condition. Don't need top mounts or anything but the top nuts would be nice. Only need REARS.

Yeah there was a topic about that, for removing the steel shroud bit. As I said I was going to put metal spacers in there to avoid needing to use the rubber mount (not very sturdy mounted 90 degrees without that steel shroud piece). And yes I have talked to a certifier and am going to get a metal bush made for it, but that above is the rough idea that the exhaust fits and clears the linkage so adding a metal bush in there with no need for the metal shroud should be fine.

Interior Done. Exhaust fits Sweet. Just need to down pipes fitted up. Strechhhh All that is left now is diff and driveshaft and having the exhaust fitted up. Then off to get a cert and Finally after almost hitting a year (March 24th) I will get that pink sticker off lol. And the green one too since it has both a pinky and a greeny lolz.

They look mint. I like how you have them next to the fireplace. I presume they are sitting in your lounge haha. Just sit there chill out, stare at some BBS RS
-
Oh Lordy How wide are those rears??
-
cheers haha, Its a $79 camera I bought a month ago, Absolute cheap POS but it was batter than not having a camera and I'm no photographer either lol. I'll prob clean the struts up though. Going to do heaps over the weekend, All that is left really now is a couple of interior bits and front seats, install the modified exhaust manifolds (I did them myself with an angle grinder and alot of patience fitting them on and off, then $20 for this dude to weld them for me lol). Now just need the downpipes joined to the rest of the 2.5" exhaust. Stoked as with how it's looking. The engine bay looks clean tidy as.

I always upload through www.imageshack.us and select to resize as 800x600 when they upload.. Easy as.

They are done exactly how GC recommend. Was done by a very experienced engineer at Quality Autos here in Hastings. Strut housings shortened 56mm (I chose to shorten them this length). Taped new threads for the top shock nut. Proper Spacers lathed and machined to fit at the bottom of the strut housings, instead of using the crap tube GC supply to make spacers with. Cost me a a fair bit but it has been done mint.
