  1. I don't have the tech2 wing, I preffered not to put mine on and sell it instead.. but the boot arm things have alot of wobble in them. And the latch does have issues too. Have to slam it hard to close. It used to move to the side and scrape the paint of the edge cos it wobbled.
  2. Yup he's got back to me.
  3. Going to try this when i can... Since we are on topic of bootlids and mounting.. What would make a boot lid wobble side to side? Should it be like that or what? It's not too bad but it does move about 1cm side to side. Can't remember if my 325i's boot was like this :S
  4. ^ Sorry I gots all the wheels in my garage.
  5. Nah I forgot the username of who bought my Gearbox but they have since got back to me lol.. It's not someone on here, or atleast I don't think they are a BS member. Friend of Ian's (Creaver).
  6. BUMP Surprised no one wants some pretty much brand new front shocks? I think the threads are F'd. I have them in with washers at the mo. I'll do for straight $60 if you wait til possibly late next week when I won't need the car to be rolling around..
  7. Fuuuuuuu. Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiish.
  8. Best bet would be buying a new IS lip. You will very very rarely come across one for sale. New they are around $370.
  9. Any chance that plug you broke is the issue
  10. If your inspector happens to be deaf, yes.
  11. Guts boe. MANUAL CONVERRRSION.
  12. I dunno if the 318i has a different model number one, But m20 bellhousing does NOT fit the same as the 318i.
  13. ^ What he said. Grind around, Lay down some No. 8 wire. Then Bog that sh*t. On a more serious note, I hope you know someone with a welder dude. That is just nasty I'm glad my Jap imported POS e30 had nothing like this when I pulled up my carpet
  14. The one on the sump is the main ground. Bad ground or not connected will cause the same issue. Even having the greasy side attached can cause issues. Clean it and even sand it abit so its fleshing some metal then attach it to the chassis.
  15. Looking good Nath, You will get there. Just takes abit of effort put in the right places.
  16. Yeah, the loom has 3 wires on a facelift. Fit on their own sized studs. That power lead goes to the one with the 13mm nut on the starter straight to the battery, shares the same stud as a wire coming from the loom (so theres 2 wires on that stud), 1 on the 10mm one and 1 on the 8mm one on top.
  17. Still prefer to do mine properly. Waste of time if you end up failing WOF for it. And no doubt your light output would be decreased.
  18. Yeah paint stripper works wonders. The stuff at supercheap is good, Just scrub it over with a tooth brush, wait abit and it all scrapes off. Going to look Sick,
  19. Yeah that's his alright. I think the asking price is quite fair? Interior looks clean. Engine bay.......hmmmmm.
  20. If anyone manages to make some decent crosshairs for the highbeams I'd be keen. Only reason I didn't do my highbeams is because I don't have anything to make crosshairs with. Would prefer metal ones or something. Some guy used to sell sets on e30tech, laser cut using the Hella cutout templates so perfect fit.
  21. I have different values for the bosch engine temp sensor? 187ohms at 100C. 1707ohms at 30C.
