Ive used them before (and would again if they were cheaper this time) to move an e34 from welly to Tauranga, the one in my avatar. They didnt ring prior to dropping off but I didn't mind. Car was left secure.

Checked fuel pressure under the hood and it was weak. Not sure what happened to pump...

Yeah was bloody freezing. I did the filter about a year ago and was pretty blocked.

My 535i has been running a bit rough last couple of days so this arvo I picked up another m30 complete and was driving it home on the trailer. Before I left I wondered how the car would go on a long trip but last time it was running like this it was the tps. Anyhow its gotten worse on the way home so with a trailer full of replacement parts I have stopped 3 times and swapped out the tps, AFM, and ECU. Each time no change and now it stalled half way up a hill in Rotorua. Will just idle and splutters under any pedal or load. I'm now thinking fuel. any ideas before I call a tow truck? One big enough for me and a trailer

Have found a nice 2001 diesel, rebuilt trans and front transaxle. Is that normal for 275km? Would a 2005 be the higher spec engine?

Found that car had fair bit of play in the steering on centre. Adjusted screw under the air box and is 90% better.

17's not really low profile tyres.

Car veers slightly and requires opposite steer to hold on a straight line. Its like some weight has shifted sides. I can't work out if its the rear enzd shifting or the front. Seems to return to centre OK.

Yeah its the self steering I hate, does this when not on the brakes almost like it shifts off axis. Have swapped front hubs and struts to get rid of 2 bad wheel bearings when i did the shocks, and has new WOF from my trusted Indy.

Ex UK 535i msport suspension, LSD, sport seats. Trying to get the suspension sorted and have replaced all shocks and shock mounts, thrust arm bushes and had wheel alignment. Am still getting some self steer and wheel shake under brakes. I checked the control arms bushes, ball joints and steering link, not new but no noticeable play. Am going to check rear pitman arms next....

I helped my sister buy one of these similar kms same spec, got PPI from team mcm passed with flying colours, 1 yr later chain guides broke. I wouldnt touch another one with over 150k unless guides replaced. Took me $1200 parts and two months to diy part time.

How did the engine run?

E30 can take you all the way big fella The seats have a lot of travel

all good, went vice and small cold chisel to remove, and channel locks and locktite for installation. The instructions with the Bilsteins spec'd a torque value for the gland nut so i though it might be something special.....

Happy long weekend.... Just trying to fit som bilstein b8's into my e34535i and seems I need a special wrench to tighten the insert collar onto the strut. Anyone have one I can borrow or is it a job for bf pipe wrench?
