You actually see a lot of early E38s that have been facelifted, I suppose it was an easy mod to keep up to date
-
Mmm fair call. There is also boston green, metallic mid blue and a shade of silver. 328i manuals were on offer in the same spec from SA
-
Never meant for NZ market? I have old Autocar magazines with 2 page spread advertising for them by BMWNZ, with a green one beside the touring car. Touted as the road going touring car ltd edition.

As per title, looking for full manual conversion for a 1993 525i M50 in Auckland. What have you? Cheers Nathan

Happy birthday door handle

To look like dorks. As with most fads; bigger better. The closer you can get to the arch with max camber etc etc is the goal. Stance's grandfather looked attractive where a car has a bit more track and a bit more camber to look the business, then the boys took it to the extreme. Fads come and go, just with higher peaks and troughs than fashion.

Whether it fixes the problem or not, this thread has some of the best, most considered and deduced advice I have seen in a long time. No "its definitely the pcv/icv/replace everything it will bean offence if you don't spend a ton of money" statements to be seen. I'm a (green behind the ears) mech engineer and this the kind of problem solvibg ability that not many people have. Keep up the good work

White 760Li outside Massimo Takapuna with HILARIOUS fluoro orange tape on half of the trim and lip of the wheels.
-
Yeah i was with a mate. Your car's a worthy counterpart to my Audi
-
Spotted in Takapuna as you left this evening, looking and sounding great

As petty and immature as I find most people ranting about people's incorrectly listed 'M' cars most of the time, the way he has bitten makes this auction the exception. Pretty funny.
-
ALthough I can't help with the check system, may I say what a fantastic looking car you have there. While M-pars would undoubtedly look good on the right E34, the ACS trim options added to you car all suit each other and it is a great example of an original (aside from wind mirrors, i think?), top spec car which doesn't need changing. Keep it original!

Looking good, but how about an unedited photo? I feel like I'm looking at the cover of a fashion magazine

I Paid 270 per tyre for Pirelli P7s a year or so ago.

Fabulous

Oh k. Well nonetheless does that not tell you to thus diagnose fault with constant 12v, and then take the necessary course of action be it make a new 12v or fix the old? Apologies OP for 'jack.
-
Ahah no sorry I meant self leveling suspension.
-
Why don't you wire the head unit constant to the car's constant like it should be? Im unsure where the puzzle is in this. Some head units, usually original; have a memory that doesnt require constant power.

I'd love to know that too. Factors I can think of would be: -Temperature of timing belt area -Torque on camshaft from belt -RPM -Stress on belt from tensioner How different can such factors be from another car, and this is a SOHC with more freely running camshaft I would expect. My first car was an E30 316i and I remember getting it done at 150km. About $400 incl water pump at a BMW agent.... A long time ago!

E30 wagon with nasty right rear hit on Marine Pde, also e39 530 wagon with right rear wheel hit and clapped out SLS on Garnet Rd

Great low kms, and if the condition reflects them then go for it. So it may want service items, carry them out and have a 105km car in perfect nick!

I'm always the one to beat the drum for economy; and I assure you that a 318ti will use less fuel than a 328. Factory figures support it, personal experience supports it etc.... This is provided that you aren't a fool trying to get 328 speed from a 318 with a lead foot. In this case, anything will use a lot of fuel. Dent on the red one looks nasty. You can do better I would say. If you really want a ti, put feelers out for a NZ new AC schnitzer kit/exhaust manual.
