sand it, then Leather filler, and then re- colour. No idea where to get the products though....

Just as others have said- pre '88 318i manual should do the job very well indeed. - To all 2003/4 members, way back then i remember the M40's were always spoken of as 'bulletproof engines' which 'go forever'. My how things have changed in a few years?
-
I'll second that one. All you wanted was a yes or a no. Nobody likes being shot from the sky guys. At the same time I'll say what someone else said- cheap things that work, tend to be popular and common. That electric thing isnt either, i imagine. Churr

I'm relying on the source of all knowledge google machine, so correct away! (the conversion bit is sumthn i saw in a bmw mag once, saying they'll 2.8 hartge-ize e36's)
-
In the UK there is a place/ way/ option that turns standard cars into 2.8 hartge ones..... i'd say its a proper motor.... looks fun. Wheel would def be aftermarket- bmw wouldnt have shiny bits! (at the same time, my old alpina wheel is made by momo and has momo etching as well as alpina) There is an E36 with H28 badge on back of it near my dads place- but i cant find e36 hartge on the net? That front kit is hartge

Keen for what? welcome mate

I'll second the budget Singapore spec..... common espesh with 735i's. Seriously some E65's which look good are RUBBISH, so get it checked checked and checked again! (or if its a dealer saying that they have given it the check, find out about the 'recalls' (known faults that were not recalled) and question them
-
E65's are really nice to drive, etc etc like any other seven, but yes they do have the E65 probs, and also the 7 series servicing and parts (believe me- they DO always go in to the shop when money is no issue) Does the 7 have that horrible light coloured matt finish wood, or high gloss? the matt looks really cheap. E65s are very high- its great sitting in the traffic and seeing over other people! Make sure it has had the known E65 probs fixed- power steering bolts etc(the dealers know the faults) An E60 530d would win hands down in this case so far as an all round car goes. But this isnt a diesel, its a petrol. The 3L is very very smooth in E60's, you cant feel the power through your foot like you can in an E39(but it's there). Handling is superb, and the steering is great (not a noticable naff item, it sort of works in the background without you knowing) If I had that money right now i would go for the 735, but only because i always want bigger better. A smarter choice all- round(for MYSELF) would be the 5.

No matter what age, i would be spending the 7500(typo), not the 2 different amounts

Ninjas- -they have endless friends who pop out everywhere and jup in on the fight, one by one -they have hattori hanso steel (the best) -pirates are on ships, have a bad diet and little exercise- therefore do not have the deft sleight of hand that the ninjas do -pirates are old and ninjas are young

Damn, i have wet dreams about a 6cyl white manual coupe

An NZ car before the M325i was around. came with close- ratio dogleg box, hotter cam, LSD, sport seats, some other crap and no kit (probably hadnt been invented yet) Any around? any on the forums? I'd be keen to find a good one....

I am not a pimp, nor am I so much smarter than the good folk at alpina, that i would throw their springs in the bin. if i had gone for gold down the mangumukas that time, my guards would be rolled out into wings. Also the wheel would have rubbed a hole throgh into the engine bay. The guards roll themselves on SH10 on small bumps on the road even. The plastic above the wheels have gashes and marks on them from when the wheels hit the top going straight. The front shocks are FINE and are not shot, I do not want to match the rear springs, Alpinas have lower fronts than rears anyway. mine are just lower than that. To save people giving 'advice', anyone got a pair of front Alpina E30 springs? NO idea of how low they are sorry
-
These are just too low for my liking, they replaced the alpina springs which are a bit higher. im keen to swap them for fronts that will match the alpina rears a bit better (maybe 20mm higher than where the front is now)
-
cool IDEA just tlike the american cars, but that is the f**king ugliest thing i have ever seen
-
If it had standard springs on it, and the front lip still attached, i would easily pay 3k for it, i think it looks really nice. Price shouldnt go any lower than that, hold out for a buyer!
