Just for the sake of free and guaranteed info- ask bmw about tuning one. They did exhausts and chips etc on lots of 740i's and 540i's, and know how much power etc etc is gained.

newer generation bmws can be broken into with a forked piece of metal, a cordless drill, and a screwdriver to remove the number plate. Not sure about how to start though.... -

I think my mother qualifies as being a solo mum, but still i think Threeoneeight knows what he is talking about with benefits- and i would tend to agree. i'd simply prefer to see a National government. -he has a degree in politics, so may be able to back himself up...

If your car is pre- FL and has the small oval shaped diagnostic plug in the engine bay, then yes the ECU will work. (im crossing my fingers that you have a FL engine so i can buy your ECU off you!)

I lik ethe concept car, looks like a lot of things, as do many cars i guess. My 2c is that i first thought Skyline.. Sime Darby Berhad own bmw, alfa, ferrari, porsche, audi, vw, suzuki, maserati, jeep, etc etc bla bla franchises in Auckland...

I wouldnt say they really have much of a premium when it comes to what people are REALLY paying for them, maybe a thousand or 2 on top of sedan price in great condition?? Recently there was a touring for sale locally for 2000

Contact the NZ BMW agents, Auckland is Team Macmillan BMW, and Jerry Clayton BMW. They tend to keep pretty good track of CSL's and other reasonably sought after cars.... Same with most places, you may have to really squeeze it out of them, as sometimes they cant be bothered with the hassle

Yeah plenty of buyers, and we also have our fair share of CSL's as well. usually 1 or 2 for sale so far as i know.... Not sure of current price, maybe around $100-130k? only a guess

Not enough interest to my surprise! Tender closed, no accepted tenders sorry. Shes going under covers in an old cowshed later this week to be saved for a rainy year! will update with pics of me 'tucking her in' lol
