Its holidays you sucker. Take some time off!
  3. I'm pretty sure this thread is about this car. Was on trademe for ages, was on a $1 reserve auction but still failed to sell. Has popped up again at a dealer, hard to miss those stripes. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-233183650.htm
  4. Regos on hold and it failed a wof in late 08. Buyer beware!
  5. As others have said, it would be easier, cheaper and you would have a better final product if you just got a coupe.
  6. That was me! That's a scary amount of information you collected about my car while driving! Cop followed me from city until he got off at Lincoln road, I don't think he was actually following me but rather heading to the Henderson station.
  7. What wheels will it come on?
  8. Saw this on a road near my house one day, almost crashed and snapped my neck off turning to look at it.
  9. Nah I think that one was a 330i?
  10. Its back. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-233995908.htm
  11. I saw a white e30 325iS with an old man driving down Parnell rise today. It looked good but needed a wash.
  12. When I did my full test the tester said NOT to say all the pointless things like that. Only the things that require you to take action/change what you are doing. For example he asked me to id hazards coming up to and going through a roundabout in a residential zone. I pretty much said what I was thinking and doing "approaching roundabout, preparing to stop, looking right, no cars.... silence.... there's not really any hazards here" and he was happy. If you were to list everything you would be there all day naming pointless things. Hell you could be naming power poles and light posts because they could come alive and jump on your car.
  13. Have lessons with an instructor before the test. The instructor will tell you all the things about your driving that you need to change/improve on. Then theres all the basics, like obey all road rules. Stop completely at a stop sign, don't crash, stick to the speed limit. But all these things the instructor will go over with you.
  14. So carjam says it hasnt had a WOF for the past 10 months, I saw it at the mobil on quay street in AKL about 2 or 3 months ago. When I spotted it I was like "MINT AN E30 M3!!!" then I saw the rims and thought something didnt look right, then I remembered the rego and threads I had seen on here about it, bubble burst
  15. I have a single key and the alarm remote. Rather boring but its all I need, nice and compact.
  16. City driving in my 318i (1.8L M10 Auto) I get an average of 10.4km's per L of Petrol (BP98). That's an average from a time period from October 07 until today. I mostly do motorway driving from west auckland into the central city.
  17. Fair enough. Can people who have recently joined with less than 10 posts see this thread? If so there's potential for spam so they can post in the For Sale area.
  18. A little bit down the page http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=23512
  19. Like I said in that other thread mine are 205/50/16. Mines lowered on springs and shortened shocks. I don't get any rubbing, don't think the guards were rolled.
  20. It was on trademe a while back for $4k. From memory it burns quite a bit of oil. Also speedo is in miles, so has done 160,000 miles. Edit: which you can see in the second pic.
  21. Yeah wheels and tyres came with the car. Tyres are Kingstar 205/50/16's.
  22. Good condition ones look like this on a car
