  3. bonnet boot Wonder how these fit? The last fiberglass iS lips came out at around $200 which makes these look pretty reasonable.
  4. clickme Correct me if I'm wrong but a casting number ending in 885 makes it a m20b25 head, thus it is probably of interest to someone here. Please please buy it before I do

  7. Tentative yes if I can get this bloody manual convy done. Does seem a bit late though, I mean if it takes an extra half hour to gather everyone then it could be stretching it? idk Oh and can someone who's been there bring up the place on google maps?

    I need options

I want to fit the later style shifter to my early G240. Is there a way to accommodate it? The bracket its meant to sit between at the gearbox end is non existent. Other option is to run with the old shifter that came with the manual conversion kit, its the big metal plate style thing. But the plastic shift cup it came with doesn't even fit If I can't get a solution tonight I'l take mattzys 260 which this late shifter cam out of and put that in. But I'm unexcited by the thought of this. Ideas? 1st pic is plastic cup not fitting 2nd is old style shifter 3rd shows where the bracket to hold the late style shifter is meant to be 4th shows the end of the late shifter thats meant to go into said bracket

    Quick Questions

If I remove the centre muffler and replace it with straight pipes (while keeping the stock back muffler), will it be too loud? m20b25 e30.
  11. I've got the claw ones that you have to manually wind on. You're welcome to borrow them, mt eden.
  12. I thought he was referring to the m70, which is like 2 m20s on a common crank.
  13. Fixed! Left hand thread it is. One of those situations where a little thought would have saved me a day of stressing. oh well. Thanks to John for calling it first and Glenn for being helpful on the phone.
  14. Long story short, the thread on the passenger side end of my brake bar is forked. I've been trying to gently re thread it with a die for the last hour or so but I'm not having any luck - it keeps wanting to run cross threaded. Its m10 x 1.5 Besides removing the steering column and heater box (to be able to replace the brake bar), what can I do? I just don't have the experience to use this die properly. I will pay someone to come and fix the thread if they are willing. Pics:

    E30 24V

I've seen it done by just clicking the cogs on the back over with a flat head, but there is a risk of snapping something that way.
  16. I've got those coilovers brand new unused for sale if you want to get them cheaper.
