Why are so many bodyshop people scum? I work next to a bodyshop and they are fking dirtbags, they thrash the sh*t out of all the cars they get, like doing squeelies and burning the clutch everywhere on cold cars. It disgusts me.

I could put 2.5k into my e30 right now to get it all original - new brakes, muffler, all bushes, all shocks, seats, leaks from engine, leaks from power steering and leak from gearbox, but I don't need to as its still perfectly dailyable and I drive it everyday quote happily Thanks god for no WoFs in WA!

This thread has been really interesting. I've been driving a manual 100 series 4.2 petrol six landie last couple of months... Its slower of the mark than my 318i lol. Holds fourth around town all day though so its easy as to drive, but you really feel all the weight. Tows awesomely. Apparently they have the same engines as the 80 series but they weight a lot more, so for a just weekend car an 80 series would be better I guess. 2c

Can you tell us how you fixed the other door locks? My central looking just took a sh*t and died. Is it one of those things where you take everything out, turn it over in your hands a few times, put it back in and it works, or are there specific things you can do?

Car is coming along, just in the middle of removing the carpet, got an ac schnitzer rear skirt, some sounds this weekend and some ground control coilovers this weekend, I'll update when I can.
