  1. Cant find any good pictures of the NZ touring cars but they are my favourite, amber lights and no spoilers, lust slamed.
  2. Im still waiting on DNA results before committing to the fact they are 14â€. They could be 14.1" and metric in whitch case I will corect the auction at the risk of being black listed.
  3. Im no expert either but the 14 on the tyre may be a strong clue to size. CSI Skills.

    Sierra RS Cosworth

Such a nice car, that engine bay is pure awesome. Hard selling toys to fund sensible things but in the long run you will be happy you did, plenty more fish in the sea, just gotta be patient. Good luck. PS: Can I have a ride in it before you sell? Didnt realise it had that much power, that must be fun!

    BMW E30 Touring

Cmbombump bump… Mortgage up for renewal soon, would like to get this sold and sonic bomb the bank with the moneys. Its a nice car, I just dont do it justice leaving it to sit in the garage, needs to be out and obout showing off. Gotta stick a recode diff in it and give it a dust off so wont available for viewing/driving for a couple of weeks, also will need a few days to swap audio gear out if your keen. 10.5k starting bid on TM in a couple of weeks

    Hi!

Welcome. How much are you looking for the the 180sx? is it a genuine facelift type X? Interested in a E30 Touring?
  10. Welcome to Bimmersport, E30's are fun cars, buy a decent one to start with and you will enjoy it. Im sure we can help you find a good one.
  11. This thread is nearly as pointless as the Turbo or Supercharger thread! Yay for Mondays. Is this news that E30’s are slow?? Hell, a Prelude will almost beat a E30 M3!!! Holly sh*t and sacrilege did he just say that, E30 M3 are crazy fast though!! FFS its a Prelude, who cares!! Launch control is awesome, my car has it and it actually works. True story. Keep it up team, its a great contraceptive for the moderators.
  12. Your mate is correct Henry generally the Turbo’s are the best, regardless of size, application or vehicle type, the best turbo’s are ones with fancy names on then and multiple high digits’, the numbers directly correspond to the time you have to wait for the screamer to start howling, it’s at this point that any turbo becomes fast. Superchargers are all the same regardless of car, Mini Cooper S, McLaren SLR same sh*t, a turbo will always have more top end power so rip that supercharger off and turbo it instead, it will be cheaper anyhow as you can get all the sh*t you need off trade-me and from wreckers.

That was a real piss off, safety car FTL. Was watching some old video’s of my favourite two years 1991 and 1992 and they just lft all the cars on the side of the road if they were in a not so bad place, was way cooler when they were relaxed. Also noted the GTR’s fastest laps were 2.14’s, the new cars are in the 2.07’s in the damp.
  14. How long is a piece of string. Im looking at buying some but im not sure of the length of a piece of string, are they all the same and generally the same length.. I won’t respond to any genuine suggestions unless you insult my ability to use the string.

    Favourite Takeaways?

We made our own Big-Mac’s yesterday with some guide a guy downloaded from the internet, imagine a full sized Gourmet Big-Mac with half a pond of Beef. They were kick ass, highly recommend giving it ago. Also, best Burger I have even eaten (well nearly) was a Big Boy Burger at Big Boys Toys one year, it was epic, I couldn’t finish it and I out eat anyone I have ever met.
  16. I think it would be very valuable.
  17. AFAIK yellow lights are perfectly legal on high beams. Car looks shithot, tasteful. well-done.

    Favourite Takeaways?

Everything. Meh, if i'm not cooking i'm happy, a lot of the big name burger places have got a bit expensive as of late, had we a Burgerfuel in my town I would choose that. I love Nandos but its way to expensive so its only a once and a while place. Pizza has gotta be Hells. Indian pwns all, Pabla's in Papakura has the best Butered chicken in the world, I sh*t you not, in the world, it is to Papakura what Diamond Takaways is to Greenlane.
  22. The nightlife and Wildcats is epic after a day at the V8’s and elevteen thousand Jim Beams. Im guessing its not as awsome the rest of the year but I have fond memories... especially wildcats.

It’s always the same people who poo poo them, they never actually go to a race and see, hear, feel and smell the awesomeness, I have been going to see them locally and abroad for 20 years and have seen how it has changed, I remember the Turbo error and can assure you they have nothing on the current cars. A good example of this was seeing the Sierra Cosworth and other old cars at this year’s Melbourne GP, the contrast between the old timers and the modern V8’s was staggering, they looks so slow, but then the F1 cars made the V8’s look like they were going backwards. Things have changed immensely Glenn, these cars are developed from scratch and are worked on by a massive team of some of the top engineers from around the world, im sure they don’t know as much as you and most likely can’t fix some system on a road car though. I encourage anyone to go and have a look at how the current cars are, before having a look at the way these teams operate and how much development go into these cars I was ignorant and made the old prehistoric comments too. Maybe it’s the Australian accent that has us all followed into thinking they are stupid.
