  1. My Repco ones have been awesome, l only use them once a month though. I want a super low profile one for when im working on the E30 but they are ultra expensive and for the little use it will get not justified.
  2. Cool,, Touring meet would be funny, would need to pack a BBQ and some camping equipment. Mine was sold NZ new at Team McMillan’s also, my car has also traveled 240k. You need a Bimmersport sticker Isis. Why does Bimmersport not have a spotted thread that people can stalk* out other members like I just have. *disclaimer. Sorry if the word "stalk" offends anyone, I used it as a joke.
  3. Ah, thought it would have been a member! Looks good, like the plastic things above the lights and the dark repeaters. Is your car NZ new?
  4. Simon, you make me laugh out loud! Will ask the missus if she knows of any Bravo, her company entertains quite a few wealthy offshore execs so im sure she will know.
  5. Good luck with the sale. Swap your front suspension with mine (KYB/VOTGTLAND.. Plus cash your way
  6. Lol, was driving down the road and some chap “uncle bullied†my car with his Hilux
  7. BBC couldn’t afford Michael Shumacher and he wouldn’t have the time to do the job anyway.
  8. Dark coloured 320i E30 Touring parked in the Silvia Park shopping mall’s car park.. Had the plate suggesting it was packing something other than a 2.0l under its hood. Spotted your car yesterday, haven’t seen one other touring bar on cruises in the time I have owned mine… I don’t travel everyday though.

Good stuff! Perfect solution to your problem, look forwardededed to seeing you at some track days now that you’ll have no excuses. If it’s any consolation for not finishing the job, you guys looked the part and had some nice tools and it looked more fun them mowing the lawns.
  10. Did we all get these? Quality seemed ok to me Fitted mine and don’t really like them, they are a bit too bling for me, maybe they will grow on me
  11. They will let anyone do it as costs and arm and a leg! If anything all teenagers should do it. Good stuff Bravo!
  12. looks shithot! good stuff.
  13. My cat wouldn’t go near my car as it wouldn’t feed it… all it does is sleep and eat. My Dog however loves the “carâ€, just mention car and she is at the garage door.
  14. The front seat doesn’t look to bad, just get a donor piece and recover the bolsters. No biggie.
  15. Im not feeling the Volk type wheels on the E46 M3’s, bar the white one with the green wheels and mirrors. That Yellow 911 looks awsome. Liking the Work wheels on that Silver E46 M3, I was offered a set 17x8 and 17x10 for my E30 last year and am staring to wish I had have gone for it Im digging my new black wheels, semi-gloss black is unfortunately not photogenic but looks so good on the road and is easy to clean. Check out this new Megane.
  16. I want that one. Thanks Jib. That is one set up E30, wonder if it’s an ex touring car. How I would have my perfect E30
  17. What would you know Ashy? Haha
  18. Don’t be silly, F1 teams don’t just go and design custom tires for their cars, they get them at the same place as you and I, I saw Kazuki Nakajima getting a wheel alignment at Takanini Firestone Direct just the other day. Yea, it’s always funny to throw the old “F1 Cars used to run them†comment into the mix No sports I can think of run stretched tyres these days.
  19. M3’s look good in aubergine, I can’t find the real colour but it’s not either of those Purples. Good luck with the search, I think you get to a point and realise the E30 isn’t going to be the car you wish it could be and even after infinite money thrown at it it’s still going to be inferior to a factory later model M-Car.
  20. That they do, hence my Swift overpriced comment, the game has moved on quite a bit. Oh and it’s not a Ford Ka it’s a Ford Fiesta. We dont get thee Ka
  21. F1 cars used to run stretched tyres.. I think it looks cool and would rock them if I dint like back roads and gravel. If NZ was smooth I would have the waggon on the ground with 10" wheels.
  22. Welcome to Bimmersport. Two young 316i Coupe drivers from Hamilton called Brook, what’s the chances. Cool first car man, wish I could have afforded an E30 when I was your age! Lol at clock in cluster… so cool.
  23. I have his interior saved in my pictures as inspiration for mine if I ever win lotto. Leather/Alkentara FTW.
  24. I would recommend shocks and springs first. Hard to recommend a shock, its dependant on what you want to achieve and what your budget is, its all well and good to fork out $800 for a set of front shocks but what’s the point if you are going low purley for aesthetics and don’t give a sh*t about aggressive driving. I have a front pair of Billstein’s I was going to list on TM next week, they cost me $150 so that’s all I want for them, they are just a factory Motorsport shock, I have had them bench dynode and leak tested both coming back in top notch. They need the caps (not sure of the proper terminology) that hold the shock in the strut. Flick us a PM if you’re keen.
