http://www.viewauckland.co.nz/review_4030.html Looks good, cheap and BYO. I like.

My favorite BYO close to town is Da Sette Soldi, they have an awesome atmosphere not quite as good Gina’s but IMO the food is better, there Veil Masala is f**king awesome. There menu is also fussy people and child friendly, so you can BYO quality bottle of wine and eat good food whilst your fussy unimaginative friends order a Hawaiian Pizza and drink Heineken. http://yellow.co.nz/companies/Restaurants/...98542_1403.html Might head there now for a Pizza

That’s very nice. Xenon lights too, with all those options it would have cost near 135k new. Looks good lowered. I want a job at this dealership, they have the nicest cars.
-
Haha, nice one TM. Yup, 99.9% of dealers know little more than finance options and profit margins. Disgusted in the overall lack of knowledge with car dealers, even huge dealers. If I didn’t know what I was selling I would be screwed.

haha, Would love to see a E30 325i go to 60 in 7.4! thats the same speed as the E30 M3! They would have been testing the E36. Quite funny a modern hatch back is faster than both.

Over 100 points in two years equals 90 days disqualification. I know this because I lost mine a couple of years back. No more Turbo’s for me. They will send you a letter or someone will come round and collect your licence.

Hi, welcome to Bimmersport, why not do an intro in the new member section and post up some pictures of your new car, its good to see some newer car drivers joining up, I for one love the E90 and am anticipating the day I find one in the speck im after and one I can afford A qualified auto electrician will have no problem installing your HID kit but keep in mind fitting one is illegal and is a danger to other road users. Most sparkies will just install a resistor to fool the light out sensor into believing the lights are off and everything is fine. I think the problem is due to the HID unit drawing a different amount than the stock halogens. There are a couple of members on here that have retrofitted them and will be able to give a professional explanation.

Haven’t seen any touring with leather down here, its only an expensive retrim away! Keen to get a quote from Retro in New Market, they might do us a twofa deal! Got a spare 2k laying around?
-
Sweet, they are yours. I have a striped rear seat too if you need the runners. I have no idea as to what the blue marks are but they could most likely be removed with some black shoe polish. Will text ya.
-
Well done that is stunning Dylan, glad you too see the Audi is gone. As nice as they are they are no M3.
-
Nice. Thats NZ$40k. Should Twin-Cam mine and send it to the US!

6x9’s. Perfect if you don’t want to cut wholes in your parcel tray. They are nothing flash but they are only up to a buck fiddy. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=219508776 12†JBL. This box sounds good, isn’t ported and goes well in a sedan. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...mp;id=219510144 All proceeds go to the “skids for kids†help Graham buy a LSD fund. Do it for the kids.

I was going to say that but then I thought E30 parts aren’t cheap either and the internet has made obtaining parts easier. The Gearboxes in the Mercs are meant to be bullet proof and are very sought after in the Mercedes community. Crazy Arab, looking forward, I know a guy in your neck of the woods that has two 190e Cosies and runs a very good workshop, he would be the man to talk to about service.

Bloody good venue, I won’t need to eat today thanks to the Massive meal! Roast for two was like a whole family roast! Good value good service and friendly attractive staff. Those Distinction Ales have got me a bit groggy this morning though. Im not silly so I will be signing up for my Loyal dog card! Can I bring my Dog next time?
-
Depending on the condition of the Mercedes I would take the Mercedes. Twin Cam goodness.

They are not basket weaves.. they are hotness.

I had the normal ones replaced in January buy Manukau Auto & tyre centre, this is what they charged me. They purchase them from Autoline so you could probably save a few bob if you go direct. Rear sway bar links $97+GST Nolithane link inserts $29.05+GST Rear sway bar mount bushes $42.92+GST Front sway bar Bushes $42.92+GST Front sway bar mount bushes $42.92+GST Lower Control arm bushes $204.38 Well worth it in my opinion, they do slightly compromise ride but the improvement justifies that.

Vectra has some serious interest. Be quick if you’re interested Thanks to anyone who has made potential buyers aware of my auction, cant believe the interest in this car! Hope it sells in the next week so we can get the Frenchie.

I struggled to obtain two headrests when installing rear headrests in my E30, thought these could be of some interest to someone. May be of some use to someone. If a Bimmersport Member wants them they can have them. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=219511010

Bugger. I never knew they over tightened, I just threw away one of those spanners that come with a set of TSW’s from back in the day. Who the hell would steal centre caps Dylan. Pics of the M3 or ban

Don’t mean to wine and go on but… I swapped all mine over last week I would doubt there would be any difference, the lower apron would weigh slightly more if not the same as a IS chin spoiler and the upper bumper is just a cover replacement that actually has less trim than a standard bumper. I can assure you the Tech-II cover was lighter than a plastic facelift bumper and considerably lighter than a steel pre facelift bumper. Just a correction at the risk of misconception of the tech-II weight, it is made of a very light plastic. Maybe the F/G ones are heavy. Either way, a tech-II would look naff on your beast. Go the IS lip!

That’s not bad at all for an old naturally aspirated car. What are other 325i’s putting out? How does it drive Andrew? Better response at all? A mate had one fitted to his Commodore SS and the most noticeable improvement I felt was throttle response and low down go, will easily get sideways off the mark without dialling up revs it previously needed. So tempted to pop round the corner and have Jason fit one.
-
A genuine Tech=II weighs nothing, I had mine off last week and I walked it down to the panel beaters holding it with my little finger, it would honestly weigh 2kg max. The upper piece is lighter than a stock bumper.

By all means, KYB do make some good shocks, but like Billstein you pay for it, it’s their run of the mill stuff that is crap, like the ones you buy at Supercheap. The “factory†replacement Monroe & KYB both cost more than the BOGE even though they are inferior. For the record some of Bilsteins shocks are crap also.
