Yep, the R26 is the car that replaced this 06 R25 for 07,08 and 09 they added an LSD and left everything else virtually untouched, they didn’t change the engine and both are reported to have more like 180kw, one thing they also didn’t mention as these cars have a F1 inspired launch control system. There are only a few in NZ so they are hard to value, they are selling in Australia for au30-35k. Your onto it Cam, I was certainly schooled in French cooking on the weekend, the Renaultsport Cleo is even madder and will annihilate most through anything twisty.

Nice one, love these Mondeo they go like stink and sound fantastic, they go under the radar here, but that’s a good thing aint it, pull up to some bogan in an XR6 and feel sorry for him knowing your car is far superior.

Sure would. I wouldn’t recommend one to anyone with a weak bladder or excess fat though, this thing has me jiggling like a fat kid on a BMX, its stiffer than a porn star.

Sunglasses? Good idea. Thanks Brian, bloody ripper

Couldn’t afford the R26! Advantage the R26 has over this is the LSD and that’s all, missus said she might retrofit one. Just quietly, this is one of the best cars I have driven. Would decimate a lot of very expensive cars through a back road. I thought you lot would like it.

It looks awesome though. Lol. Not a hating thread, maybe people don’t even realise they have their rear fog lights on? Its really distracting is all.
-
Knobs They don’t look cool, they look bright. In most other countries it is illegal to drive with them on unless it’s foggy. They are called fog lights for a reason, if they weren’t for fog they would call them something else like “Knob lights†Ok, so fronts aren’t so bad but if I catch any of you with your rear fogs on im going to remove the button myself! Have been stuck behind so many people with them on lately and its really distracting!
-
Unless it’s foggy turn them off, this is really starting to piss me off the amount of Euro trash with these switched on at night. They are bright and very distracting more so if you suffer from pore eye sight like me. Also, why must you drive with your front fogs on? Other road users think you are retarded and you look stupid. Is there an invisible fog that no one else can see? Maybe try your demister. Would love to see the police start fining people for this instead of German plates and would also like to see the rear fog light switch removed so that bob the sales rep in his 2003 Mondeo wont switch them on.

No good, that sucks man. Testing station next time. Mum takes her BMW there and she lives in Pukekohe, they look after her like she has just ordered a new 7. She even has them sort out her insurance. Raves about the place.

Are we talking three series here? E30 5-Door E36 4-Door E46 2-Door E9* 2-door (bar the M3, m3 looks so cool as a 4-Door) -
Now that the Vectra has gone. A Few picks of the missus new Megane. Its a Team F1 edition and one of only a few in NZ. No pictures of the back, I think the photographer wasn’t a big J-Lo fan. What a bloody fantastic car, I though modern Hot hatches had lost all the hotness after driving the Mazda MPS3 and Golf GTI as well as owning an Astra SRI-T. The Megane is one serious piece of kit, it has more grip than any car I have owned and the damper settings whilst hard are quite composed and confidence inspiring. The only thing that bugs me is the ABS calibration, it is way too sensitive for our bumpy back roads. It is absolutely filthy, I spent an hour and a half on the interior yesterday and it is still in need of a rug doctor. The body will be a day job later this week, it will need a serious clean before I even attempt to clay bar and polish it. I went to replace the indicator bulb in the head light and found the problem was a loose connection. Changing the bulb requires removal of the front wheel and inner guards so I pulled the wheels off and started on an under body clean up at the same time, I was impressed with the factory Brembo breaks and braided lines, also noticed a lot of undercar air deflectors, not something I expected on a hatchback. All clean underneath after a blast with a high pressure water blaster and some degreaser, detailed the brakes and wheels with some metal polish. Will take some decnt pictures when she is all cleaned up.

That’s quite good… quite true to. I am constantly face palming due to the massive ordeal the missus turns even the smallest mundane thing into. I have a wallet. My wallet contains cash, a EFTPOS cars, my licence, business cards and a flybuys card. If I was to ask the missus to locate all these items it would take here at least four hours.

Can you scan Renaults with Canbus Glenn?

A warning for those who don't check their brake's
Apex replied to tibbs.james's topic in Maintenance
Is that possible? No chance of that happening on the E30, they have break wear sensors…and hey, let’s be honest the wheel is going to be off for some reason thought a mouth anyway! -
Well done, love new work toys.. I recently upgraded my system and you find yourself asking why didn’t I do this sooner…then you get sent an invoice and remember!
-
I know exactly how you feel, I had my first car for ten years, did a hell of a lot in it and spent a hell of a lot on it then…. Headrest saved my life!! True story. Managed to save all mechanical parts minus one strut and transplanted it all into a better car. Good luck.

They do Freedo’s in aus…mint ones too.
-
Bugger. Can happen to anyone mate. At least the parts can be salvaged.

To posh to push Brent Have been looking at E60’s on UK EBay, quite a few Manual options over there including Manual 545i,550i and the king hitting 535d. Adrian, the guy we just brought our Renault off has just got himself a Manual 135i, he tells us it one of only two manual 135i’s in NZ, he has had to wait a few weeks for his to be built and the other was a mix up in the ordering.

The soggy biscuit chassis/body would suggest bugger all.

Hate Cherry Ripes and Turkish delights and yet they always give me heaps..

Was given a box last week and was disappointed with quantity’s of some of my Favourites. The box had a sh*t load of Cherry Ripes but not one Dream. I have been given a few opinions as to what’s good and what’s not, obviously we all have different tastes but the quantities seem amiss to me. Im going to send them a letter as my two favourite flavours featured were almost nonexistent. I think they need a mint variety in there. Can you simply vote you’re favourite for interests sake. Thanks Stuff the boy racers and the German plates, lets deal with the big issues people.

Would aim for a 535i.

Everywhere. Easily over 100, not every BMW M3 driver is on Bimmersport! How many M3's were made? Hardly limited numbers.
