I haven’t had a chance to test them properly other than a few on/off ramp tests. They are quieter than the last set and a lot smoother on the course chip, I have noticed they don’t squeal much on the smooth stuff. Will give a proper opinion when I get a chance to head out Hunua-Clevedon for a drive.

Very nice, we are looking at a 2001 NZ new one that’s identical to yours only! Well done.

The 735i is the one to go for, we drove one and it went really well, Id take a 745i for the same coin. My sub 25 y/o missus had no problem with insurance on our 545i, was actually cheap for a $60,000 car

Just type any BMW/VW/AUDI model in on trade me search and a silver one will come up, some champion self lover has entered lots of fabulous key words.. as if someone will type in M3 and think na, I might just go with this 318is instead… Or hey I might look up Passat but see an old BMW coupe and think wow that’s a great alternative. E-Props to you, cool old 325i! So jealous of some of those suspension bits

How many cars have the interior space of an arena and 50,000 watt sound systems in the front with a live band on the dash board?? I have a set of 4†speakers in the back to give some vocal/mid fill over the subwoofer, have been in cars with a sub in the back and no rears and it sounds unbalanced.

Just going off other people’s opinions, they are generally regarded as a very good road performance tire. I have had $900 a corner tires before and found them to be no better than $200 replacement so the price shouldn’t dictate the quality. Cheers, they seem to get the thumbs up from a lot of people, I would prefer the Dunlop’s as I have had them before and they were great but I’d be saving $200 if I go with the Toyo’s and in most accounts they are regarded higher.

Did you put the 6.5 in the doors?? How do they fit/look. Thanks

Thanks for the response guys, I will get a set I think, they are great value and from what I can gather a fantastic performance Tire. Would there be n advantage handling wise going to a 195/50, just thinking about side wall flex. 15" 195/50VR15 82V hight: 576 Width:198 5.5 - 7.0 15" 205/50VR15 89V hight: 587 Width:211 5.5 - 7.5

I wouldn’t think there would be too much between them TBH, the 728i has lots of weight and very little power so you would need to keep on the gas a lot longer. Just my thoughts.

X2 Subs are veryy cheap these days. Sub/box amp combos for under $400 even.

I have booked in for some new tires on Saturday, Im looking at Toyo Proxes (205/55/15) have I made the right decision?? Im getting them at a sharp deal as they are stock and considerably cheaper than the desired Dunlop Direzza’s. Any experience??

Nice one, I had to stop a guy from doing this the other day, he had no idea it was illegal! Can’t you just space the 6x9’s up a bit or box them? Failing that just find a relaxed WOF inspector, there are plenty out my way

Nice! well done. Really like the stance.

Yea, was trying to preserve my test drive privileges with other members

But if it were Japanese it wouldn’t need the plug in the first place.. A quick look under the bonnet of my low tech E30 reveals a lot of ware (oil leaks, corroded pipes and plastics) compared to my Toyota of the same age, they defiantly require a lot more “maintenance†than a Jap equivalent.

They go well we drove a Spec-R when they came out and it was very nice, Nissan NZ fitted Koni shocks and lowering springs.. looks like he has gone a step further. Sorry, yea the 520 looks great! When's the 3.5 going in?

Like a M3 Evo front lip?? Please post a bigger picture I can’t quite make out the front Brian

I have come to expect this sort of thing come sports seasons with people using me for complicated/intricate quote work with no real intension of using my business. Part and parcel. Makes me laugh at the stupid little gits with their Premium second hand BMW’s they don’t want to pay the Premium to maintain such a car, have driven a few prime examples of such neglect over the past few weeks. I can see a lot of 90's BMW/Audi/Merc’s being sold as parts due to the unreliability and expensive maintenance costs.

Awesomeness, nice project! What you gunna call it? 320sx?? Beemilvia?? haha

Shift light? Does it ever glow? Rev it out to its limiter and see
