Nice one, welcome to Bimmersport mate. One piece of what I hope you take as constructive input, loose the M-Badge or re place it. Looks to be in the middle of nowhere also lose the Japanese licence plate holder! These two simple things would have the rear end looking a lot smoother.

Maybe not dodgy but it has clearly been repaired on the cheap. Would make me question where costs have been saved in other places. Judging by the build up of dirt around the badge it was repaired a while ago. I would just be cautious if looking at this vehicle noting it has had a few bits and pieces painted recently, look at the front bumper and note the car has obviously had a recent cut and polish. One thing I have learnt with second hand cars is not to judge a book by its cover. I have been burt The E46 Coupe is a fantastic car, my mum has one and it has only had one fault since new, the trim where the pillar-less window shuts has come loose on more than one occasion, BMW have had a go at fixing it but it keeps returning, im guessing it’s a common fault on the Ci.

Is it just me or do these numbers not line up properly and does the paint look really bad bellow?? Remote opening doors means keyless entry.. thought that was obvious
-
Check this filth.. Im in disbelief someone could actually do this to a place and I actually thought it was an experiment at first!! Link: Filth

Yep they are a stylish cool looking vehicle that runs on an oily rag (1000cc) and are made up of common Nissan parts so maintenance is a synch, they are appreciating in value also. My Missus is currently looking at getting one.

Im sure there is a company in Japan that make these strange “retro†look vehicles, the trend was kicked off by the Nissan Figaro. There are lots of Micra’s and Starlets adorning stuck on chrome and odd detailing in Japan.
-
I don’t see them as hair dressers cars at all, the M-Roadster and M-Coupe would IMHO be the maddest cars BMW have ever made, they looked very pumped and make a very nice sound! Id rock a black one. This also could be a reason why I don’t see them as Girly?? How many BMW’s can you have this much fun in. FUN FUN FUN

Sounds good. Where’s Kingsland?? I’ll be in the comfort of my own house watching it in full surround sound on a nice LCD Telly with my mates cooking my BBQ and drinking quality beer for 1/6th the price a bar charges
-
I have no idea what Fibre new do but that does sound pricy! Unless you are going for something custom I would go with a second hand one, I fixed mine with 10 coats of shoe nugget!
-
I’d prefer the Coupe as im a Ginge and allergic to daylight which would make owning a vert pointless. The roadster would be cool but!
-
Haha, the Touring is a nice vehicle to drive and be seen in though, something about a being a wagon that takes the “BMW driver†perception away! Would be hard to replace. Nice E30Zone Avatar BTW.

Nice one, that colour comes up so nice with a bit of polish, mine was that same colour though yours looks like it has been garaged in a previous life! Some update projectors with angel eyes would look awesome, as you say though they are massively expensive.
-
^^^True^^^ OEM does look good though! Do these decks have a stacker input?? Maybe you could auxiliary input it somehow??
-
$400 is what you should expect to pay for a good job! I thought id save a few bob on the touring and it resulted in three re tints.. im still not happy but there isn’t much I can do. I find offering "cash" can sometimes reduce the cost of things..
-
Everything is for sale at the right price. Wouldn’t let mine go for less than 10, they are appreciating after all.
-
Lol, yea well I do hate them.. Thanks Brian, am not in huge rush as you would expect we do like the car, it is listed at a fair price compared to the next NZ New 545i M-Sport. Biggest peeve im going to have is people calling and comparing Japanese import prices. We will see how we get on.
-
For Sale. $50,000ono PM me for details.

I recently failed mine at On Road New Zealand, so the testing stations must be getting strict. A quick clarification and conversation between the tester and the tinter sorted it and once I had the 35% stickers applied the car was magically legal. Even if it was darker than 35%. I recommend Tint-a-car, they are the most expensive but in my experience are miles above anyone else I have seen out South. There used to be a guy in an industrial estate in Miarangi (s) bay that did a fantastic job on my old Commodore, Tint <Magic they were called.

Removing the wheel is no biggie and replacement would cost half as much as recovering, I was once quoted $800!!
-
Not many people do it, I would call Retro Vehicle enhancements.
-
Rota Slipstreams. Who does em in NZ?
-
Lay a transfer down and Embroider over the top. Easy.

Would have to change script as the “Bimmersport†embroidery wouldn’t suite the flat peek cap. What if the script was changed and logo repositioned? The lettering needs to be quite short to fit as the word "bimmersport" and three colour bars are quite long.
