16-20 should have the same rolling diameter? The width would be the restriction. Just cheeked and mine is a skinny wheel / space saver. I have no idea why I thought I had a full sized spare
-
Are your seats grey and have the same pattern as this?? I need some fabric and rear head rests for a re trim.
-
Maybe let us know what it has and what grade the car is?

For Coffee & Pies I go to 1. BP 2. Mobil 3. Shell 4. Caltex 5. All the others If its name and shame I nominate Mobil as having the worst service in the Papakura area, not only do they not help anyone at the pumps but they often only have one person working in the whole place and at night don’t let me pump my gas until I have pre paid. When I say I want to fill it they give me a strange look as if this is abnormal thing to do at a gas station. Thank god our new car takes 95 so I no longer have to go to Mobil.

Cool, how big are those wheels? 20 I would love a set for mine.
-
This campaign is stupid. If they are so confident why don’t they fill the F1 car up with it and see how it goes. I was speaking with a Ferrari salesman on Monday and he said they use 98 from BP. I do like the add though.

Lust. Those seats and that wheel… Well done who ever picked it up!

Will have a look tonight. Im sure it was 18". Is your car NZ New?

They just feel right. They are the quintessential BMW and I would go as far as to say the quintessential Euro. I love mine. It’s not fast and it doesn’t handle brilliantly yet it’s really nice to drive.

My E60 has a full sized spare. Regardless of size one would think the tire should be the same diameter.

What power source are you running?? I only ask as there is little point buying expensive components if you can’t feed them properly. I would sagest some cheap components and upgrade both your bass and your tweeter at the same time. Even a $120 set will be 20x better than factory and probably run at 20% from a factory amp. -
That’s not a bad idea, I will get my muffler guy “Pete†to have a look at it, even if we disconnect the rear box to get an idea of the sound. Im not about to pay 1500-2000 for a fancy stainless one from overseas as you can’t see it and it would most likely give me no more power anyway! Clay bar is your friend, we must clay before we polish and we must polish before we wax! I could make any piece of mutton look like lamb given a few hours. I should set up a Meguiars group buy as I get it at an amazing discount, I could even give some tips.

Cheeky buggers I will have to search out what the best way to get some noise is. In terms of intake there are a few options available in the states, im really just after a bit more noise as its stupadley quite as is.
-
What’s wrong with that? Maybe you have a different conception as to what a big bore is. Im meaning a free flow big bore rear muffler with the factory tips re welded. I will look the same but sound like a V8 should.
-
I haven’t found its limits yet and am still getting used to the up down select on its slush box. Seems to be quite quick though, the engine is very flexible and has multiple personality without being harsh and loud. I would love to stick a big bore on it! (Misspelt Loud again)

All the M-Tec goodies comprising of Sports tuned suspension and steering, Bumpers and skirts, wheels, seats, sill plates and steering wheel. Options: TV, DVD, NAV, 10stack, Hi-Fi loud speaker system, Bluetooth, BMW professional Phone (in centre console), voice input system (you can tell it what to do and sometimes the lovely Scottish women gets in wrong), Glass roof, 14 way comfort sports seats with active bolsters, comfort access (seats and steering wheel adjust to aid in and out access), rear blind (?), model designation deletion (yes that’s actually an option ) Active Steering Turns half turn lock to lock when parking and gradually adjusts lock and stiffness according to speed), Emergency wheel (Run flat deletion), Alarm system, Anti Dazzle interior and exterior mirrors (they dim automatically in a millisecond), smokers package (ashtray and cigarette lighters), through load system (back seats fold completely flat), towing package with self levelling (retractable tow bar with auto levelling suspension), park distance control (didn’t stop the last owner smashing into things and has cost me a couple of thousand in painting and bumper realignment), adaptive Xenon headlights with washing mechanism, individual high gloss Saturn Chrome trim (no chrome), Individual roof lining in Anthracite (Black headlining), 545i SP P plate.

I have just purchased another BMW and had it checked but Team McMillan yesterday, they do a thorough 90 minute test and report back to you any faults found with the vehicle and give you an honest opinion on the condition of the car and point out if anything has been repaired or needs to be. The best $142.70 you could ever spend if buying a BMW.

So insurance would be compulsory to the car and not the driver… that really doesn’t enforce much. I can insure my brother’s HSV third party so that it has insurance and never drive the bloody thing. What’s to stop Joe Blogs mum doing the same thing on her sons EVO-4 that she is already guarantor for finance on? Im not sure how it works overseas but surely insurance should be linked to the driver, not the car.
-
Cool, that’s totally understandable… I love the Sony Tape deck option, I bet it would have cost BIG bucks back then too. I remember paying $800 (1996) for a Alpine tape deck, 20w x4 with auto reverse, was pretty flash. My Old lady had a navy blue 320i 4 door back in 87, was a very nice car in its day.. even had wind down windows and a lip spoiler. Compulsory insurance is great in theory but how are they going to enforce it? I can’t think of any one moment that I could have been checked for insurance in the last year.. And if people do get done for it what would be the punishment? The fine will no doubt cost less than the insurance so people will just take the gamble.
-
Exactly, cars would cost more. More expensive cars means less people on the roads, more expensive cars means they would be better looked after and most likely held onto for longer, more expensive cars would slow the ridiculous about of lending going on and make finance harder to obtain.. Well that’s the way I see it. Im not saying things should be like they were in the 80’s, but somewhere in between would be nice. Owning a car and driving are both privileges.

Well done. Welcome to Bimmersport. It seems to have grown extra exhaust pipes! Looks good.
-
That is a very smart looking wagon! Love silver motorsport wagons I wonder if the interior is the same colour as the shift gate trim.
-
I agree they need bring in tougher WOF rules. I think we need to stop used imports. I find it hilarious is that New Zealanders are buying unwanted cars from Japan, Singapore and Malaysia?? It’s like we are a refuse for other countries junk, hell half of NZ even buy there used tires.
-
Agreed, would be interesting. Im all in for that, they could send that nappy sand challenge guy over to clean this place out! Tighten up immigration, and raise import taxes. Now that would be hilarious. All the MPs would be cruising around in new BMW’s….
