Because Germans are awesome or something? Good point with new seasons stars being anyones guess. I would like to see RBR with success, they are a cool team. Heinfeld got the job at Renault. Bugger. Had just prepared my CV too.

Im sorry to be the pessimist but I have found through endless run ins with the Police that 99% of the time I was in fact being a d*ck head or genuinely pissing off the public and deserved what I got. Man up and take mantrol. PS I just waisted two Police cars up the Bombay’s with a new record for my 1.3 Corolla at a speedometer indicated 110 KPH. Blasted past them like they were. NWA would have been proud.

Bad economic times perhaps. Market is slow. Doom and gloom, everyone is still paying off Christmas. I thought this car would have long sold, it’s a nice car, went well and sounded great at Bimmersport Trackday. If I won lotto I swear I would have 100 e30’s in a warehouse
-
Didn't see that. Maybe its age related then? Has happened to all mine 85-100km.
-
Happens on all modern vehicles when they near 100,000km. Best order new parts. My 05 Vectra did it 05 545i did it 06 Renault is doing it. Its very common.

**URGENT** Jap E65 745i TV, NAV, TUNER to NZ conversion **URGENT**
Apex replied to ash7032's topic in Electrical system
Yea the Japanese are the stupid ones You should fit a Europlate to it, will look mean... oh wait. -
First port of call LSD and suspension. Would be a lot of fun. I had a NZ new 2000SX with the CA-18DET back in the 90's and it went hard, had the same try to go sideways quality as the M325i. Race car commitments stop me from impulse buying this… and the other mean E30’s that are being waved around al of a sudden. I swear as soon as I can’t afford a toy they all come out to taunt me. Good luck with the sale man. PS you should put Hyundai Turbo diesel in a E30 for lols.

Anyone recommend a good sub for E39?
Apex replied to Tristan's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
A 10 year old Earthquake from back in the day when Earthquake was quality, had a Kicker amp but never swapped it, the old Earthquake was a goodie even at 400wRMS. Have all anyone will need to do a top quality Amp install for sale too, once again never used it, cost me a bloody fortune even at cost. That box is designed for a E30 Touring and is stanch as hell with a massive port, for a single 10†it goes hard, harder than most average two twelve set ups. -

I have mine for sale. Goes really well. Got a ski port? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...953&ed=true -
I did say most, meaning most that aren’t M-Cars the wife’s did have Tien Adjustable and a few other bits of sushi hanging off it, may have been gran turismo stage two tuned, was a quick car but ever really admitted it to anyone. Def a guilty pleasure at times ------------------------------------------------------ None that I know of and if there were I would have been told, the Vauxhall//Opel club are quite an inquisitive bunch and sniff out the rarity’s, there a few Turbo Speedsters around and a Tigra with a C20XE in it. The Omega 3000 in Manual trim is a bloody capable car.. was a Real M535i competitor. Few people have toyed with building reps but its costly to bring a kit down under.

Fiat will have something special there also according to a mate. Cant wait for this.
-
Im sure the two fastest road cars at Bimmersport trackday were FWD and one was a Honda..

Hiendfeld has skill. I don’t think Renault could afford him though, how pissed off would they be after investing 20 odd million into Kubica. Im sorry. If was his employer I would be seriously f**ked off, especially seeing he crashed on a Touring stage of the rally where you are supposed to be driving at local speed limits.

Worth a drive.. if you like driving.

Hold on, hold on the FTO was out well before the Maserati so how do you figure that? I have constantly laughed at modern Maserati because they look like overgrown FTO’s… oh and because they are the most pointless cars you can buy. Was Japanese car of the year 94 from memory. My wife had a FTO when we got together, back when they were expensive but still gay, have to admit as sh*t as I always thought it was I always had to respect that it was very fast, hers was the GPX and would easily out pace most BMW’s on a back road.
-
Have to admit. That is funny. Mainly because you can tell the guy is serious.
-
Mention of of Nick Heindfeld look like a safe option to fill in. Bruno Senna is sh*t and that just cant happen, even as a temporary replacement that just won’t work.
-
Thanks, as the guy is not answering my questions I guessing they are old tyres, just wanted to know t date on the side. Race tyres go off after a couple of years and are useless apparently. Jono has a lead on some tyres, will wait and see.
-
Yay. Will charge the camera I think.
-
Stocks. George Stocks. They don’t seem to discount as they are cheap as anyways. Just go and see them.

I have this in my diary, could be of interest to a few of you. They had a fantastic range of cars on display last year ranging from old English junk all the way upto the latest Italian supercars, there were even a few BMW's. Lock and loaded. http://www.classiccar.co.nz/news-7900/nz-c...starts-tomorrow

Anyone know Dealer Retrofit Parts Pricing on DRL lights?
Apex replied to fatjoez's topic in Appearance
Hella make the BMW ones so maybe contact Hella NZ and see what they can do. They need to be wired so they are only on when headlights are off, they are way to bright to have running at night. -
Same designer, the 240z was actually meant to be mass produced by Toyota as a economical version of the 2000gt but they canceled the project and the designer went to Nissan.. Thats what I was told anyways.
-
There is fast, and there is fun. I would sooner a E30 M325i than a E36 M3, sure they are not that fast but they sure make me smile. I know the E36 is capable and I respect that it was the best car in its category the whole of the 90's. Didn't want to offend. Looks are subjective with cars Brain, I don't like pretty cars
