Throws a blank. Suspense much.

Nothing different mate, we were driving around in E36’sand other BMW’s with no springs lower than yours 15 years ago, back when E36’s were still worth more than three dollars and 18" wheels were 10 grand… they drove like sh*t back then too.. But we looked awesome I would say the E46 above is on air-ride or photoshopped, either that or it would simply not move, the offset is quite nice though, you could emulate that quiet easily, I tried a set of E34 Style-5’ss on my E46 and it was spot on.

Spending that much money on an old car with high kms when you could buy something brand new and better suited you your likely applications for much less?
-
Oh how I would love to completely f**k up the wife’s E46’s chassis dynamics and ability to be driven at pace as a trade off for that stance. Looks so nice. It’s like chopping off your legs loosing the ability to walk or run in attempt to look cool

Our E60 545i did that, inflated and moved around as the going got fast.. or boat like. Audi's RS cars seem to hold good value, much better than M-Cars for some reason. The RS4 goes ok from what I have seen on track, as said not as well as an E46 or as much fun but TBH I would rather a RS4 for everyday driving, especially in winter.

He had to regulate.... his intake in resent years. Also, the Bob Dylan version of that Friday song made me pee in my pants a little bit and spray V drink on my desk.

Going to the gym followed by a 10k run... May throw some U2 on my shuffle.

What is twin turbo V12 Astra?

Don't do it. You will end up doing what I have done to the Megane and you will be endlessly poor.

Have done the main event last year with the tour and it was a blast, highly recommended to anyone who want to use their car properly but doesn't want to cage it, it would kill a low car though. We got minimal air on the yumps at 140kph, have since learnt my sump sits 5cm above the across member and that is the lowest point so I will get some good photo's this year without fair of sump damage, have seen them bend suspension arms though!

I bet him fair and square, if you sink the black you loose my friend. Like any motorsport event finishing is part of the race. Crash out or break your car you will lose time or go home early. I could have gone 40% faster over all given I pushed harder and had Semi Slicks like the rest of the field, but I may not have made it to the finish, it was my first rally and I was there to get experience. Even at my slow pace I managed to get the car fully air bourn a few times and smash my under tray and inter wheel arches, dismount my exhaust and wreck four road tyres, I also narrowly escaped writing my car off and killing both myself and my co driver when pushing that little bit harder to catch the next car in front of me time wise. Main event will be a blast, I can’t wait.

Welcome. If a 318i is a REAL BMW my Toyota Corolla is a Bentley.

Hartge have always been renowned for their subtlety when tuning cars, this model has such subtle mods that you can’t even tell it’s a Hartge. It was the Japanese style number plate holders and optional 15 wheels that were a giveaway for me, you will get the hang of how to identify such limited number special editions one day. Welcome to "BS" (aptly abbreviated) Jake.

Lol my car does that stock when going in drives and its stock height, stiffer than a Russian cocktail, it lifts wheels on tight bends also.. Hela flush is cool if you don't like driving at all, I would have a optimum fitment and stanced car for a toy if I could, it does look cool.

Get a Nurburgring sticker to go next to it. So much fail.

The M5 is a pig on the track, its just too heavy and hard on tyres and brakes, I have passed one in my stock at the time Megane
-
Cmon, you run slicks and he is on road tyres, not really fair, you could have slipped up the inside easy! 500+ BHP looks good though! You have some nice straight line pace and your car sounds fantastic, good to see you are out using the car as much as possible, so many awesome projects sit in a shed.

Will come along to the next Hampton day when a few of you Bimmersporters are there and I shall take you for hot lap or two. Needs more of everything now after Targa, you think a car is hard enough but then Targa turns it into a big ball of cotton wool, speed perception is crazy when your all strapped in with a Hans and massive Rally helmet and Radio, approaching a corner that posts 45 and your 200m out doing 180, lift off stab third go around. Only one scratch down the side from a couple of white side markers proves I wasn't going hard enough. Would be keen to talk sh*t about the Renaultsports with someone else who is now "knowing" The new one comes out next month, was meant to be here a while ago but it has a 6 month waiting list and NZ always gets shuffled to the bottom, we are going to get one when they have better stcoks but im going to have the press car one day.
-
Cheers Mat, yea it came together quite quick, less than one month from a stock road car, am very happy with the transformation, as a idea as to how we went, we were ahead of some quite decent cars, biggest battle was with a couple of late model STi's and EVO's and a Bathurst endurance 130i, he had to much for us on the last few stages though as there were a lot more straights. Haha you really want to have a drive of mine, I drove a stock 225 a few weeks back and it felt so soft I started looking for the VW badges
-
The back needs to come up to match the front Looks good, has it got a later model 4.4?
-
I just pour petrol into a pan and soak it, all the sh*t sinks to the bottom and the petrol normally turns dark and dirty. You only need a small about of oil, its only there to attract dust. Like you, my car came with a cleanable panel, I wouldn't waist my money on a new one.
-
I just clean mine with petrol, I spray it ever so lightly with some sewing machine oil I have. Its the excess oil that clogs the sensor in the AFM.
-
Yea. Next week. Waist of my time. I swear if I did the same in my Renault with four times the power it wouldn't have wheel spun, I dont know what it is with the old buz box Corolla's, they just want top wheel spin or bog down, bogging down means stalling and stalling means flooding the carb normally so you can end up stuck in the middle of the road. So frustrated and disappointed. Can really sympathize with a few on here now, I just thought you were all being hoons but this has been an eye opener as to how vague this power to prosecute is. One second of wheel spin FFS, I have done bigger skids in my undies.
-
Yes. Yes I do. But he will cost more than the fine. Its an utter bullshit rule, the cop didn't even want to listen or reason and honestly thought I did it on purpose for kicks or to show off. its crappy 70hp fwd Corolla FFS, drawing attention to myself in it is not my intentions.

Toyo R888’s are great for the week or so they last. Dunlop’s are mega bucks but far superior and will last a few more days.
