OK I can now sympathise with a few of you. I just got done for sustained loss of traction in wait for it... my 1.3 Corolla. Seems the mighty 2E blew the cops mind when I reversed out of car park and smoked up one wheel for like half a second in an attempt not to stall it from a roll back. I didn't even know that was illegal. The guy thought I was a hoon in my run about daily. This rule is bulshit. A burnout I can understand but a bit of a wheel spin when clearly trying to get going in a busy road is bullshit. I have lost my licence seven times and have a driving record as long as my arm so I won’t even bother fighting it. Promise not to judge you poor young ones again.

Does look quite tuff now. Ugly and tuff. Like cartoon bulldog. Was trying to get a WOF at testing station but as normal was a mission, self levelling HID seems a foreign concept to them as does the inability to fit sun visors when there is a roll bar where they normally go. Monit rally device installed, did some calibration runs last night and drove around with our new helmets, Stand 21 Hans devices and Peltor radio. Looked very R spec going up the Bombay’s on Wednesday night. Race suits arrived yesterday for Targa, whether we do well or not Ian and I will look WRC spec, these suits are sex. Gotta do a couple of badges to go on today. New shocks an wheel alignment today and Shelly is going to do some moor signage to keep the sponsors happy. Cant wait for the event. Amping already and cant get to sleep at night and then up first thing to do more prep, gotta try and keep the adrenalin down as the “come down†next week will be a killer.

Our E46 Coupe's door handle's feel a bit tierd, the one on the pasenger side sometimes requires three of four decent pulls before it opens. Is this a common problem on E46's? Whats the fix? Cheers
-
This was inevitable.

Nice wheels. Good luck with the sale, these are some rare OEM rims!
-
Agree with this, even in E46 form I much prefer the sedan. Wish they made a E46 M3 Sedan. Coupes are a nice looking car but a bit girly
-
Nice. Very nice. Agree with Jib, that fitment and hight looks about perfect for NZ. That colour is nice. Was it exclusive to the M3 sedan? I agree the FD2's are cool but they are very expensive for what you get and the ride on them is horrid on NZ roads. the one pictured was for sale a while back and has has quite a bit of rice added to it to make in even less compliant.

Good stuff, it will go ok, they really need the Cup suspension to shine on track, you will also notice on the RS225 or “full fat model†that you can’t switch off the traction control or stability control so it may be a bit slow. First port of call would be a set of Eibach springs if you can, that will make a huge difference, the Cup suspension is after all pretty much just Eibach springs. The F/L cup does have upgraded and re programed steering though. That car has been well looked after and should serve you well, if you need to know anything just flick me an Email, I have had to deal with a few issues and Archibald and Shorter will be of little help to you. I am also sponsored by Renault NZ and could help with a few direct questions if needed.

There are quite a few of these type conversions happening locally, some a lot better than above. The VW/Audi scene is bigger than the BMW scene in NZ, they are doing some cool sh*t.
-
They do go quite well, 6.5 to 100 for a stock 225. Have timed mine and its breaking 100 in under 6 seconds now and will do 200 in less than 20 seconds.

Unless you guys are actually homosexual, witch is good for you if you are, pay rights for dikes and all that, I really doubt you would say no, in fact I bet you would have a Charlie Sheen tribute party in your pants.

Normally things that sell in small numbers sell in small numbers for a reason. I wouldn't have thought it would be worth half that, what has the owner been smoking?

C'mon, E30’s ant that bad Matt.

Nice. Wish mine was a M-Sport facelift, they looks so much better than the early ones.

That looks sweet Mat, have never noticed that. How too please you clever bugger.

True, the P60B40 made near 500BHP in race tune and with a displacement increase to 5000cc it would no doubt make over 600. Would BMW GmbH make and engine for BMW Australia to throw in the car and what will the rules be? I'm guessing at least it will have to be build on a current production engine,. Same old stuck record. Look into the abolishment of Group-A era, new regulations needed to be in place to keep the sport fair or 95% of the teams would have dropped out of the series and it would have died. Simple as that. Im sure we would have loved to watch a poxy Nissan race another Poxy Nissan around a mountain for 6 hours. Open, na, its going to be silhouette racing much like DTM or a remote controlled car.

Of you could just get a bumper sticker saying "I have small penis". It would suit an HSV better… wait the new one has 307 no 317, no 327Kw.

Toyota should build a Camry with the NASCAR engine in it... like a NASCAR Camry. Would be interesting to see what the rules are. Problem I see is that all the new euro stuff is going turbo so not even BMW would be able to crank out a production based 600+ BHP N/A V8. Their current high power N/A V8 is just shy of 400BHP, I wonder if they can coax 230BHP more, maybe they could increase displacement. Hyundai have a RWD V8 Platform as does Nissan, Hell Nissan have the GT3 GTR V8 on the race seen already.

Wish mine would tilt. Can you code it to Glenn? -
Please, the Ausi Supercars would eat these in current tune. And you will find the Ausi Supercars is much closer racing, I think you guys are just blinded by the BMW badges. Would love to see a back to basics form of touring cars like this down under, there is nothing stopping a series going ahead as a second tear if they get enough investors, cars like the ones above are all quite close to production as far as race cars go. The NZ production series is worth a watch if you want back to basics, they could use some more euro's though. Agree with Docile the 300c is such a yuck car.

Maybe im missing the appeal and I don’t understand the point when you can buy a PS3 game with a hundred or so old school Sega games and play it through your PS3 in hi def. I have it and it’s a great game. I also have a chipped X-Box with 100's of old school games... Think in 20 years you will be able to have 100,000 games on one small hand held platform, why the would a kid want to play a Megadrive? I sure as hell dont want to play ping pong with my dad.

Bugger. As Heath said try and get some video. Looks like you reversed into Savage.

Choice pictures! Agree that that is the best colour.. for a Evolution.
