I want to be a rescued Chilean minor’s lawyer.
-
Will be able to buy a whole E36 M3 for that soon

Looks sweet. Really really nice. I like the chrome, breaks up the monotone, if there was anything I would change, and I know it doesn’t need it and I know it’s not possible/viable now, but I would have deleted the side door mouldings to tie in with the smooth front and back. Good job sir.

Best car audio shop with best prices

No problems, this forum is quite the sh*t hole at times. I couldn’t find “Chances guy†details as it’s been a few years, he does run it under a different entity out of his chances office in Papakura and im sure if you called he would be helpful, I don’t fancy your luck getting it any cheaper than parallel importers though. Paul Money is good also, I have always got a fair deal there with a bit of haggling and a wad of cash. TBH I would only buy locally for the simple reason if anything goes wrong you have back up, I have had two pioneer head decks sh*t the bed on installation and was lucky both times they were fixed or replaced. Well worth the extra $100. It’s a good head deck though so stick to your guns, the only alternative deck I would look at would be the JVC KD-R716 it has the same features, is cheaper and is arguably more user friendly. -
Think your screwed sorry James, the laws are quite black and white.. hey still better off than being screwed on the other side of the road though eh, cheaper too.

I get mine from the importer but even then it’s not far off the cost of a parallel imported item. The guy that run Chances Surf Wear also imports a fair whack of it and I had luck with him getting Pioneer equipment in the past. -
You would LOL even harder if you knew the half of my current legal predicament. Watched that movie Anger Management last week and its along those lines. What I meant was, im in control of my anger not Nicotine, after quitting you gain a nervous sense of control you forgot about

sh*t just makes me paranoid, not fun at all driving when you are paranoid. Re clothes washing powder, as with all products please please test a small patch first, I would hate to see it have a reaction. It works a treat on steering wheels and gear knobs, I didn’t even realise the stitching on my hand brake leaver was blue!

It’s all linked and has nothing to do with Nicotine at all, it’s easy to get depressed and justify things and blame things though, I was a mess, was so miserable I alienated myself for weeks. All smokers are in withdrawal, that’s what keeps you smoking, you have withdrawal five minutes after every cigarette its how the drugs works, smokers are angrier people only they mask it buy feeding the itch with a cigarette every time they get angry, it’s like rewarding yourself for getting angry. Pooh pooh it but its true. Im just as angry as before only now im in control of it and don’t have to sob off with my blanky cigarette when something is harder in life.

Zymol on TM, cheers for that, I know its really popular overseas but haven’t seen it here, their wax is supposed to be the sh*t. I tell you what I used to best results for cleaning an interior, a big bucket full of cold water and a scoop of clothing powder, cleaned over with a new cloth and the rag and bucket of water were literally black with the sh*t that comes off, Follow up with a leather conditioner, I just used Meguiars Aloe as that’s what I have on my shelf.

Our one has no heated option. Bloody good score.

Most of those can be cured just by doing 45-60 min of cardio vascular exercise (about the same as walking around the hill you live on) you will feel a million bucks for doing it. Proud of you Glenn.

Was meaning those aftermarket wheels are a direct copy of the AH 18†option wheel only yours are dipped in chrome. People are harsh on the wheels around here but think of them as those two old women that give out unwanted fashion advice.

Nice video man, always appreciate your enthusiasm and showy nature, nothing wrong with a bit of showing off. Would love to see you at the next Bimmersport trackday, maybe you could give us all some pointers and start a punch up with James, the North Island Stig. I always have my windows a jar on track days, the organisers normally tell me too. The Passenger thing is a funny one, I have set my best time at Pukekohe with a passenger in the car so the red mist works for me and I have no problem with them in the car.

Has anyone accounted for the fact you are still going to have post them internally and that they don’t actually cost much to have sent to your door anyway? I would imagine the savings to be minimalistic at best. I have had a few sets of them from this place and they have always turned up within a week. germanplates.com

Lol. Those wheels are exact copy of a GM wheel. Well done, they are a nice car.

One of these things is not like the other. My $300 would go: Powder coated wheels. Lowering Springs Normal Headlights then the roof.

Clay bar, machine cut, machine polish, Low speed machine sealer, low speed machine carnauba wax application and then another coat of carnauba wax applied thick by hand. I love this colour, it’s really vibrant, unfortunately the paint quality itself isn’t the best and it has crazy uncorrectable swirl marks masked away. Clay, Polish, Wax then re-wax .Was the best the old touring ever looked in the time I had it, 20 year old paint. That Dark Silver was a very rewarding colour, this was the best picture I took capturing the depth of shine. It will most likely be removed because of size but it need to be big to do it justice. Clay. Hand Polish. Hand Wax. This colour didn’t look much different after 6 hours of work, not very rewarding. This colour on the other hand was very rewarding to work with, sapphire black. Can’t wait to get a brand new car again, it’s nice to have something that hasn’t been f**ked by previous owners, these photos were taken when it was two years old and it looked better than the day I got it, 6 layers of wax. Have way to many cleaning products, brushes, towels and mitts now, you find your favourites over the years. Have found like anything you get better at it over time also.

I think average is a bit harsh, boring maybe, I would like to see him win this year, it might be his last chance, Vettle has many years ahead of him, I remember Webbers first race with Minardi in 2002 and he ended up seventh from memory. You’ll have to get to a race, Melbourne is a brilliant host city and its handy being only a couple of hours away, I take the missus and she just goes shopping, defiantly a favourite time of the year for me. I wasn’t even that interested in F1 until seeing it live, it gives you a huge amount of respect for them, speed wise they make a V8 supercar look like its standing still, noise wise the V8 Supercar sounds like Nissan Micra in comparison.

Just went through the build thread to catch up. Good luck with the sale mate, was a real stand out car at the Bimmersport Trackday, best sounding E30 there.

What a shambles with qualifying, my sky didn’t pick up the later qualifying so I missed it. It did however record a lot of rain and people talking. Unfortunate for Kubica, I can’t help but feel proud of Kobayashi he drove very well in front of a home crowd and made some entertaining passes. RBR were just so much faster, man that is a good car, nice to see Vettle win graciously and to see Webber keep it safe to retain his championship lead. How did you find Silverstone Cliff, im going on a Euro trip next year and we plan to kick it off with the F1 is Silverstone, would love to see them at the Nurburgring but would rather drive the full track myself instead, unfortunately you can’t do both.

Cant wait for qualifying, this is going to be the most exciting end to a season in years. Go Mark!
