You're going to have to replace the shift knuckle, the part where the shift link rod attaches to the gearbox selector, this is what wears out and causes the excessing slop. I remember mine going from side to side whacking both sides of the plastic surround thingee. Your best bet is to get the Z3 1.9 lever and a new knucle and replace them at the same time. It would also pay to replace the selector shaft oil seal aswell while you're doing it. See the G/Box sticky thread in the maintenance forum for more info. Cheers

So who is running what shocks? Bilstein, Koni, KYB... I'm running Koni adjustable sports (yellows) which are great but i'm only every adjusting the fronts between the track and daily use. How do I adjust the rear shocks? Glenn? Damian? Sam? Someone help me on this one please.

Sunroof suckers :finger: I'm running a 3.64 now after going through a 4.45, 3.25, and 3.45. 3.73 would be the best ratio for the track but the 3.64 is a really good balance.

Should say that when you bleed the breaks you don't need to bleed all of the fluid if you don't want to, just the bad stuff that's absorbed moisture - unless of course you want to completely change the fluid. After an Intermarque sprint event I bleed off a few squirts using a clear tube from the break nipple into a container. I just bleed them until the fluid coming out runs smooth and yellowish or greenish depending on brand, I'm using a 4.1 racing fluid with a high 310 degree boiling point that's bright yellow. You'll know it when you've got bad fluid, if the fluid has absorbed moisture it'll have a milky white, opaque colour, and the breaks will feel squishy.

Use the pedal on the right, depress it with right foot, ensure that the rev needle reaches 5k rpm and stays above it for a good 15 secs...then go for a badass drive.

:finger: Have you noticed how the Polizei command ALOT more respect than any police officers around the world? Probably more so because they carry guns and SMG's and drive mercs!!!

I had a phone in the spa pool with me for and hour and it survived, i've also had one bounce of a sink and land in the loo aswell. Don't listen Tim's advice about the fridge, it doesn't work half as good as leaving the phone in the hot water cabinet or next to a dehumidifier. The most important thing is to turn it off, take it apart as much as you can and leave it for a good day to dry out. Then, stick it all back together and most importantly stick it on the charger for a while before turning it on. Then you'll be sweet after that. another tip though, make sure that you save your contacts to the sim card, my phone and most other new ones store the numbers in the phone memory but still let you save 99 numbers to the sim card just in case you kill the phone.

Thanks for the clarification on that mr sims. Obviously any old joker can stick a badge (or sticker) on their car and make wild claims, it's just our job to point and laugh at them and the suckers that believe it. Aside, just curious Martyn, since your name is Martyn, why is your username Martyyn - did you make a typo when you registered your username and then just went with it???
