900rpm redline - do you mean 900rpm idle??? I'm assuming you're getting the wild chip then? I've got the mild one and even that has banged my redline up to 7k, still haven't hit the limiter in it yet. Ant said the wild will limit at 7.2k

BNT are neat. It's better to just replace the slave than to try repair/recondition it.

The two most likely causes of erratic idle are the idle control management (ICV-ECU) and vacuum leaks although I should say the vacuum leak is the most common culprit. If it's not those problems then it could be the fuel pump delivery, leaking head gasket, incorrect timing, or the camshaft being worn.

ICM? Your ECU to ICV may be a little funny. Try using another ICM or ECU unit?

Hot, always had a predilection towards the ACS kit on a FL. I've never thought about getting my repeaters colour coded...ideas now

What computer light are you talking about, not the check light? Can you disable the computer light then go get the warrant?

Perhaps the fan switch is buggered? When I first bought mine the fan only worked when in the max position and even then it was half mast. Agree on the windows - there's two ways to make them work

I have a stock moronic 1.3 chip spare although i'm not sure if that'll work with your ECU since it's 1.1???

Caught it late last night at Ian's, seriously not good at all. Most people know someone in London so fingers crossed. I've seen what the tube is like during peak hour, it would've been bloody mayhem.

I wouldn't call that standard, ACS skirts and rear - although what happen to the front ACS spoiler? Agreed on the 16" rims although the selection is tight. If you're interested in converting it to manual get yourself a manual conversion kit off trademe and give Tim a call

Ali, what are you doing asking a seller if it will fit, go do some research of your own like asking a dealer or something. I would've thought that an E46 diff would fit ALL E46's, just like how the E30 diffs do and some. Ring some people, do some talking.

Aren't all E30 and E34 auto boxes ZF? Just replace the rear section first as you can use the rear section from any E34 as they're all the same, it's the front section that's tailored to the box length so that's the hard one to replace so should be last resort. Unless of course you find a replacement driveshaft from someone.
