  2. Thanks for the heads up and discount offer Warren
  3. Depends on the part, BNT, Road&Track, Ripco or Supercheap, SKF or Saeco, for non-genuine BMW parts otherwise try wreckers for 2nd hand or $tealers for genuine such as BMW Service centres, BM Warehouse/Mosens, SD European, etc...
  4. My experience tells me if you think you're being shafted go somewhere else. You can replace your own window wipers. *If you can't do that yourself then you have serious issues. You can flush your own radiator quite easily, see * above. Any tyre place can do wheel alignments and I wouldn't be surprised (as I don't know BMWorkshop) if they outsourced wheel alignments to a tyre shop nearby.

    Long List of Work

You've made a real committment to that car now so one can see why you'd want to hold on to it for a while longer. Does it sound quiet now? What did it sound like???

Go see Mike at the Surgery, his repair work is top quality and he was very helpful on making arrangements to the point that you could even drop your car off to his place the night before so as you didn't have to do it in the morning. Their work is also so good you can't even tell i've put a gearbox go through my rear panel!
  8. If you are talking about up the very top of the low beam headlight lamp unit then that should house the park lights.

  11. First things first, use your head and do a search, on google, on how to make your site discoverable. Old skool styles were to use the meta keywords tag and have H1 through H6 tags in your page with the keywords you want in them. You can put them into hidden sections in the page aswell so as to spam the engines. Takes a while before you really get discovered though.

  13. Who here actually runs on 91??? When I first go the car I ran 91 since my previous cars used it and I wasn't sure. Wasn't till I ran my first trip north to Hamiltron that on one tank it only got from Welly to Putararu, that wasn't even 500kms...the next trip using 96 it got to Hamiltron no probs, 550kms+ I'm now getting 12km/l on trips having the manual and tall diff
  14. If you want Google to find it you need to put all the tags and text into your page so the search engines/spiders can pickup the certain keywords you'd expect people to enter. If you want your page appearing at the top of the google search list you have to pay some serious dollar.
  15. Are you sure it's not coming from the engine bay?
  16. 7:24 Is the fastest i've done so far, hung over feeling sicker than the plague :puke:

    87 320i 5-speed

It sounds like you've looked after it reasonably well and it's got the Zender front spoiler which I think are the best pre facelift ones, IMO. Post a pic if you can
  19. What's your fastest lap time on the Nurburgring Nordschleife course in arcade mode using the BMW M3 CSL with quik tune? Posting a photo of the end screen shot displaying your fastest session time and car used is recommended if you want to be believed.

    Owned

Andy is no.1 vultureGus, my condolences, that was a badass car in what looked to be mint condition. I'm sure you'll get plenty of help should you need it. Let's not stereotype the Americans though, okay, they can't all be that bad
  24. Yes, it does that sometimes, keep cranking it then stop and give it a little gas and she splutters into life...So injectors you wrcekon, they're bloody expensive aren't they. I'm guessing then that this could be the result of my exhaust gasket not having the heatshielding, I have some new gaskets with the shields waiting to go on, perhaps that'll fix it...

    Saeco
