  1. After some cheap as chips bottlecaps, no tyres. Preferably in original silver. Kicking myself for giving mine away :/ I have a single bottle cap atm, so even if three are available that'd be great

    JiB's POS

Depends on if I have time to fix my car, or put a rollbar in another one. I have to admit - I'm craving some tracktime rather than Tarmac rally, but I'll see how I go.

Sure did Will post up some in-car footage tonight or tomorrow night. I broke something, but car made it home. Haven't looked at the car since! Haha.
  6. I never liked her, perhaps due to my right wing tendencies. re: smacking - i got the cane @ school, it sure did keep me in line - there was also abuse imho - like a sadist's playground. So I'm not sure which is the lesser of the evils - abuse at school or morons that barely function as part of society.
  7. They have extremely choice engineering in them, first use of lots of aluminium bits in a production car. Gordan Murray (!!!) used them as a benchmark for the Mclaren F1's ride and useability. Also, the poxy v6 was what prompted Murray to ask Honda to build the Mclaren's motor (Honda refused, lol). BMW was the second choice after Honda! /trivia japan's only super car imho.
  8. I have non-baller sport racks if you're interested. Curved bar.

    Wheel Crack

Lol, welcome to the 4x114.3 club. Wheels galore edit: For example, these very sexy wheels.
  10. What's your budget? There are probably better calipers out there - you can always use a holden/E36 hat with what ever disc you want to run? 1) work out what hat height you need 2) work out the widest practical rotor you can fit (keeping in mind the availability of rotors and calipers) 3) Maximise the rotor diameter (keeping in mind the caliper you have chosen (AFAIK a majority of calipers will fit with relatively simple brackets). If I were to do my BBK again, the above is what I'd do. From my limited knowledge - I'd place rotor width over rotor diameter - bigger increase in thermal capacity. My 2c. edit: On second thought - the E30 probably isn't all that heavy, so perhaps aim for the largest diameter your can squeeze in the wheel...You'd be hard pressed to fit 350mm's in 17"s imho
  11. Man that EP3's extremely awesome IRL.

    E30S50

Awesome. Quick Q - was there a reason why you went for a E34 BMC with the long flexi rod instead of using a floormounted wilwood/tilton, with balance bar, etc? I guess it's cheaper, but perhaps not so much in the grand scheme of things?
  13. Someone needs to post up a tech1 without the foglight holes cut out - looks a lot tidier. I would post my car but I don't have any good photos. My tech1's Delphin metallic grey and it's not quite the same. It might be that OEM granite colour (don't know the name sorry). edit: More info (on that car) here

    M325i vs SR20DET.

How much camber were you running Henry? Interested to know, as the outer halves of the tyres look like they're doing all the work (not enough camber?) - or not getting a chance to lose heat (Toe in?). Btw, I run Re001's on the E46 - they're overhyped. More like GIII's than a RE01 replacement. Don't bother with them. R888's or equivalent would probably be more suited. Lots of 2nd hand 225/45R16's around (perfect setup for a on an E30 with 16x8's imho) - I'm still using 15"s - mainly 'cos of cost though.

    Brooks Steelies

Would widened steelies involve cutting and welding....I hope it includes heat treatment too :s Brittle failure @ 100kph would not be pleasant. Can't begin to imagine how much unsprung weight would be added with 16x10 steel wheels. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea. Perhaps something like this would be choicer if going for the look?

Cheers guys. Nah I'm happy with rfactor. I'm selling everything I can so I can go to a seminar in Oz at the end of the year My PS2 won't accept my G25 - so have given up on GT4 lol.

    PS3 Games, from $35

GTA4 up for grabs - $45 Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction - $35 Trying to think/find what else I have
  20. Gustave's page is pretty cool, but he does have a roundabout way of saying roll couple should be minimized (roll centre and CG as close as possible). Also illustrates have flawed MacPherson systems are. :/
  21. Wow, looks pretty serious! Did you weld the boot yourself? It's pretty tidy! I wish I had welding game. Also, you might need to flock the dash in something soft-ish or scrutineers might disapprove.
  22. The valence isn't structural at all. But might be useful for a diffuser support if you like playing with aero.
  23. I got wof's no problems. It's more the anchorage, seat belt angles, and if there's an airbag that they'd be checking.
