  1. Or if i wanted boys to pour green chautruse over me, i would go looking in a red M3 vert? ... *waits for ban stick* Note: I'm very sure M3 verts are great cars. And being gay is not at all a negative. Just not my preference.
  2. i wouldn't say no, because I'm a person who doesn't really care if a car is gay. One of my favourite cars is a mx5. But i would be constantly depressed that they took an excellent car, and made it fantabulously wobbly. Comes across all "hello boys" if i were gay i would go try pick up boys in an M3 vert of any kind. ^probably quote material
  3. I dunno....the new 1 series verts M3 verts are a close contender, the automotive equivalent of a muscle queen.
  4. Yup Had no problems. They were sold to me as not needing a cert, markings on the yellow collar are the standard needed apparently.

    E30S50

Awesome, really interested in seeing how it'll go! P.S. I would have it looking stock standard prefacelift. Especially with a 316i badge.
  6. Pimpin! Braided lines make the shitty e30 brake feel a little less poo, every little bit helps! I've got solid lines in the back now lol.
  7. Wouldn't it be better going for something that already has leather/techII? The houndstooth fabric and tech1 is such a classic combo (coincidentally my favourite options)! Only imho - it's your car at the end of the day
  8. Carbon S1 Exige Mo' better.
  9. I'm guessing you want a pfl 325i without a cage? Good luck with the sale James

    White Lightning - E30 M3

That's awesome. Gold centres on the LM's and a Evo lip would make it even more awesome. (not that any more awesome is necessary).
  11. one-fiddy sounds pretty good for fronts. I think I paid $360 for a set?
  12. I don't think they look good at all. But their function more than makes up for it.
  13. Any idea how much camber you're running? It's another 28mm than my et13 7" with 2.5deg neg camber, just wondering if there's any rubbing under compression?
  14. I don't see why not? 80's DTM rivals. Both highly strung 16v 4cyl, decent suspension, dogleg, quick steering racks, etc. They were built as rivals. I don't think there's any denying that. I'm sure the Merc is slower, but both have fantastic heritage! In terms of dynamics the Merc is probably more comparable to a M325i I guess? But a hell of a lot more car than a M325i for less money.
  15. The 2.7 would probably be easier/cheaper to maintain...but a M3 rival for less? I'd still go for the Cosworth... I wonder what the reserve is on the un-wof'd, un-reg'd M325i?
  16. Awesome! One day I shall have a wof/reg... I think pictures should be the next step
  17. I found this on the interwebs and thought it was the best thing evar. 2002, 9,000rpm, three wheelin' on 9"s. Bad ass. edit: attached big photos
  18. Where's the option for Merc Cosworth? If I had the expendable income - I'd choose this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=214150018
  19. Will there be a moan about fuh raze'd out ricers soon? I have "killed" my BMW with flouro coloured ricer parts. Oh noes. I think it's interesting how people modify their cars, always a guessing game as to what kinda person they are. If aforementioned sacked on chromiez squad have modified their BMW for the approval of others instead of their own, it's their loss. I reckon buying a BMW for the marque is also the same.
  20. LOL, I've had all of the above on my watchlist since ages ago. But man, those dudes want waaaaaay too much for their 17's. The rays have been on sale since mid last year, I reckon cos they're too expensive. I don't think the ssr meshies are flatbacked so might not be redrillable?
  21. By someone who probably used the wrong BMC. So does it bolt on? I have a non-ABS 325i E30. Internets also conflict some say the fittings are too big? etc etc.
  22. Will this bolt on to the booster? I've been told it would sit at a 45deg angle?
  23. Oooooh, what did the RX7 handle like? Have always wanted to give one a proper thrash.
  24. From the little that I know, it's a fairly costly exercise. Alpha N/MAP sensor mods needed to get the motor running.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

If you're gonna go for big brakes, why not wait till then to get braided lines? I paid for braided lines....then again when I went for big brakes P.S. I'm at -2 deg rear camber, pretty even at the rear with no adjustment. But the toe is on the piss - might be worn bushes though
