Seen that around Vic Park, pretty choice. Some silly dish on the rear! And I would also prefer that. Black's a bit too much imho

I need a 1" master cylinder or a 17/16" and the e32's is the closest one that may work without too much dicking around. Have 12 pistons worth of fluid to move, and I don't think the stock e30 one is up to it.

I'm after a brake master cylinder from an E32 750iL to retrofit into my E30. Anyone have one?

Hmm, I like it edit: More like a hairdresser going commando It's a Z4 convertible, always a bit hit and miss imho. A Z4 Coupe in that colour would be even more choice.

I feel for ya. Been there. 4 times, all the holes in different places

I keep finding new things that need to be done before my cert And they're all hard. ....AND! My car is lowered on out of period mags /whinge

Happy Birthday Do a skid au!

Check your brake lines, 20 year old rubber doesn't really help.

Pretty sure Nulon is repackaged Castrol We had a big debate about it when I was working there.

I've had good experience with Brugar, reasonably priced and fast turn around. I sent my BBS RS's there to be machined.

Yup, and thoroughly unpredictable. I have no idea how they can be considered WOF worthy.
-
Lol, don't you worry, once you have R888's the handling will be five different flavours of awesome.

I think shocks should also be on the list of things that may increase the chances of "oh sh*t" moments. Before I went to coilovers, my car let go on a busy on-ramp without provocation, my lack of experience meant that I over-corrected into a tank-slapper and I very very narrowly missed disappearing under the wheels of the semi-trailer next to me. I had a setup that flew through WOF's (from previous owner): Fully treaded snow tyres Lowered with Jamex super-lows - no camber correction Bilsteins which were rooted. So it just goes to show that cheaping out on any of these is not a good idea. With my current setup, yes the tail does hang out, but at least it's meant to be twitchy (silly spring rates), and it's easy to predict.

Ghetto-fab!

Probably not. More like Advanti copies (perhaps same cast?) - http://www.dchmotorsport.co.nz/Performance.../E30-Racing.php

Moar clutches for the sexy lockup

I'm guessing it's some sort of GTR replica.

Again, CamB is correct. I am essentially a hardparker like the Americans and the camber makes my 16x8's fit. But dynamically, i could do with less at the back. I have about 3deg at the rear, so i do need some correction. Finding solutions that don't cost a million dollars is another matter..

Wow, that came out quite well!. Man, I can't even remember the last time I detailed a car. Btw, I was taught to give the clay a small fold in the middle so it sits nicely inbetween your fingers - less chance of dropping it if you're gumby like me, and you don't get crampy fingers

Can always ask GC for longer front springs, they're pretty friendly. Otherwise, Cardwells can get the same Eibachs. I reckon you want longer and softer springs cos you'll want all the travel you can get for targa. And maybe not chop the 1" out of the struts for more height? Check out my thread to see how little travel I have When GC said "track" they really meant track.

If for street duties the Castrol Repsonse stuff from Super Cheap is fine. For track Penrite RBF600

I find the movies very enjoyable And they're full of priceless quotes

I went from 525-650 to 450-650. Got King Springs to replace the front Eibach's cos they were too hard. Definitely don't need any more stiffness in the rear (stripped car). Have factory swaybar in. I am running the GC track school kit with solid mounts and Camber/Castor plates. Koni SA's and GC dyno matches them to the springs I ordered shorter rear shocks and extended rear towers (more $ )so that the rear has more chance of being captive. And CamB is right, their track springs are tiny. 6" front 5" rear! Not that much captive adjustability - also remember that you'll have to modify your struts to accept the coilover platforms. All the kit is very quality and works pretty good. I think softer 400/500 would be better on Targa stuff. When I did Kemp Rd the car was very neutral, but it did kinda seem like the wheels weren't touching the ground all that often? Just felt like it was just skipping holes/bumps in some sections.

That looks awesome. I should hurry up and put my tech1 on. What spring rates you going for GC kit? You might not need to uprate the swaybars (well I've had no problem at all)
