I was recently spammed the "Top 5 cars you want in your garage" applet. For once I was genuinely interested in spam. I ended up with in order: 1) E30 M3 Sport Evo 2) Datsun Fairlady Z432R 3) E92 ALMS GT2 4) S1 Lotus Exige 5) Alpina 2002 I couldn't fathom why I'd pick a 35yo Datsun over a Gallardo/F40/insert Italian hypercar here. I'm wondering if anyone here can explain why they want their dream cars? P.S. If you want to list dream cars here, try keep it in top 5 and first to last format. It's a lot harder than you think!

They're also fugly (imho)

I wouldn't have thought that there'd be much problem with that. M20's and M40's don't have that problem...wonder if the M42 is really that much more advanced? I think more problems may come from EWS if my quick google is correct. +1 Hurry up and buy it before I'm stupid enough to have a $300 doorstop. Any idea on shipping to Auckland anyone?

I'm using them. Solid Needle bearing (no bush) version with adjustable camber/castor. Choice (especially with extra castor). Probably a bit on the harsh side for a road car?

The UN is a bickering, toothless toy of the big five, so we have nothing to worry about

Yeah, but that shot where it shows the tyre deflating...isn't that a cross spoke when it should have a turbine?
-
I'd factor in the cost of a couple of cans of poo brown to cover the vomit green.

It's be a lot cooler/less boring if they actually drove it instead of doing burnouts?
-
I swear when they shoot the tyre of the M5 it's a cross spoke wheel...but the M5 has those odd fanblade looking things on?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-216546023.htm I stumbled upon this...g unit wheels and rough as guts. But it has a grand worth of seats in it! (stolen seats perhaps? I know of at least one DC5 Type R that's been nicked recently)

Something like a early model Honda CRX would be ideal. On top of what Mattzy's said, there's decent space in engine bay, light, very very low drag coefficient.

Glad everyone's ok. Interesting to see how the A pillar airbag deploys in the E46. Have always wondered how it was meant to work.

I don't remember noticing a difference swapping indicator lenses around on my PFL and FL bumpers. So I assume they're the same?

I've found this, which answered a couple of my questions earlier in the thread. Link Lots of stuff on the Sport Evo

That was amusing. Reminds me of the Pixar movie - Cars. I would drive that car for entertainment value.

I hope he was doing sweet jumps. Ah, right. Didn't read...Looks like welding/drilling to be done Was hoping not to.

Nup, unharmed. Just a couple of scratches from the bushes as he stepped out of the car. =Source Apparently BMW still build cars like Panzers. 'Cos it sure looks like the M3 copped a fair whack

Installed for $50? Doesn't it just bolt on? (I haven't had a look yet)

I also. I'm sure there's in-car on youtube...somewhere.

That's cos tech1 + chrome is mad 80's balla. But in seriousness - how much would you be asking for? Could it be considered a reliable daily? P.S. I forgot to get back to you about pump. You have PM

Always wanted to build race cars for a living. This is the first year I've actually decided to pursue that dream...and holy moley it's hard work! But what ever you want to do...pursue it! Do eeeet. If I was more confident/younger/richer I'd try to be a professional driver. Or even auto journalist...but I don't think I would find the journo papers that interesting..

I dunno....they're extremely busy looking wheels. Lots of holes and angles that don't seem to serve a purpose?
