  1. Ahhh, S50B32 goodness , I wasn't sure it sounded like an S14, even with the Alpha N. Very, very nice M3, the pearl white is subtle and nicely done, lots of cool photos to show it off as well, oh and it "sounds tits" as they say! Still kicking myself for not buying the E30 M3 with S50 from the Uk , lack of cojones at the last minute I'm afraid , oh well, one day....
  2. I'm never too sure with these "tuned" supercars, there is not much wrong with a Ferrari California as far as I can see, why these guys think they can improve on it by throwing carbon fibre at it is beyond me. Makes it look too blingy / ricer / trying too hard, not the subtle elegance of the original design. Personally I would rather take the standard car. Should that not prove fast enough for me, then I would maybe take the engine tuning mods and they can keep the exterior mods.
  3. You can see the booster and fluid reserviour top left of the picture, with a long remote linkage going back to the bulkhead. Seems to be a pretty sizeable booster - can't tell what vehicle it's from but much larger than a standard E30 for sure.
  4. Brown, smelly and does terrible things to your backside , in otherwise a strongly flavoured bitter.Being from Kent, the beers were always made with the best hops in the world - local ones.
  5. Mainly a beer drinker as I can't handle my spirits and bad childhood memories put me off: vodka, brandy, rum, gin and scotch. I really miss my local beers from the UK, especially Shepherd Neame Porter, Bishop's Finger and Spitfire. Over here it's mainly Speight's or whatever is on special that week with the odd Belgian import if I'm feeling a bit special.
  6. Just be careful though, this will only apply IF there is a recall issued for the vehicle, NOT ALL KNOWN PROBLEMS result in a full-on recall. The manufacturers will do anything they possibly can to avoid issuing a recall due to the costs, preferring to deal with the issue as and when it affects particular cars. BMW are particularly bad at this for some reason, negative publicity I guess, so even if it is a known issue on those cars, it doesn't necessarily mean a recall has or will be given. If it hasn't the chances of getting it paid for by the dealer or BMW are much slimmer - and likely to result in a sh!t fight. Be 100% clear with the dealer whether it is a recall and the costs covered before you take the car in to have any work done.
  7. Nice one Foxy. I have quite a lot of e30 looms & bits of if you need anything.
  8. Nice work fellas! Good to see another vert going to a good home.
  9. Yup, E30 Vert = magnet for hot babes

  11. That explains quite a lot !IPA is pretty good for getting the sticky glue off as well, not quite as hard on the nose as the Acetone and doesn't give such a bad hangover afterwards.
  12. Looks like the original thread on the GTI forum has been taken down, I can't get the link to work. Does anyone know whereabouts in the UK that happened? Unfortunately, people resort to those kind of actions as they feel the authorities are not taking enough / the right measures to stop it. I know one of my mates in the UK was having some issues and reported it to the police and was basically told that although, yes the people concerned were breaking the law, there was nothing they could do about it, and even if they did it would never get to court, etc. End result was my mate going all Dirty Harry on one of the guys concerned, seems to have had the desired effect though, problem solved. All the namby-pamby, PC, civil liberties bullshit is going to see an increase in this kind of vigilante action as the Police / local authorities / governments, etc have less and less power to sort people out.
  13. Just off the Yahoo news site... PARIS (Reuters) - French police have arrested two teenage girls they say stole hundreds of euros from unsuspecting cash machine customers after distracting them by flashing their breasts. The 14-year old girls were taken to the Paris prosecutor's office to face charges while a 12 year-old accomplice was placed in a home, police said. The girls first struck last week when they approached a man withdrawing cash from an automated teller machine (ATM) in the sixth district of Paris. One of the girls tried to distract him by sticking a newspaper under his nose. When that failed, she opened her shirt and grabbed his crotch, while the other girl swiped 300 euros ($385). The girls struck again with the help of the 12-year old a few days later, using the same method to steal 500 euros from a woman. So take this as a warning gents, look out for young women flashing their norks around cash machines !
  14. Just had a trawl to find some more and liked these...
  15. Hmmm, as it's one of those repo places , I'll be interested to see if the sale goes through at that price? If it does then someone has a good buy.
  16. As foxy says, the one on this thread won't fit. I have got a pre-f/l towbar that I want to get rid of if you are after one. It's not for the race car is it Jack?
  17. More irony, this one is actually true! Granted they don't actually throw the baby at you, but the old Nana will come up to you begging for food for the baby (which could be anything in the bundle of rags) whilst the young kids go through your back pack and pockets. When we were on the pick-pocket express bus (the 147 iirc) from the train station to the Vatican they tried this on with my Mrs, not realising we were together as I had got on through the other doors. So when the kid has her hand in the wife's back pack they got my shopping bag round the back of the head - which just happened to be three nice bottles of Chianti! Made a hell of a bang, lots of shouting, knives waved about (not by me) and the pigs called, great fun! I 'ate pikeys
  18. Excuse my ignorance, but what is a 731 head for a 320i?
  19. Thanks for the tip Andy, I've never tried putting Lion Rouge through an engine, but then it's got to be good for something !
  20. Some oldies but still goodies...
  21. Hope you get it sorted Foxy, nothing worse than electrickery problems for frustrating the hell out of you. What did Paul do on the M54 for Geoff, running the Link resolves it I guess?

  23. Oi, watch it ya big city slicker you, it's all going on in Feilding at the moment. Best not bring Jo with you for this trip eh ?Tyres are all ready for you, marked up and to the correct pressures - damn I'm good to you. Just got to get the blanking plate out now.
