Yeah the lump outta that would be perfect, looks like too nice a car to pull to bits though... Maybe you need to talk to Ray about a S65 for it....
-
Project My two still run mint, but one's at 280,000+km and I want to build up something to beat on with MILVs and headers etc, then rebuild the old one as a slow burn project once it's over 300k.

Blacktop, want the silver top OG.
-
After a nice solid N52B30, something lowish km and looked after. Long block is all good. Preferably later built magnesium rocker and with cam ledge seal fix. Ideally manual sump too, but not a deal breaker. What's out there?

The tube that fits to gets really brittle, its pretty common for them to snap when ya mess with em. If it does snap it becomes a mare of the job as its pretty much totally CCV system replacement which is a job with bloody knuckles and swear words (at least on silver tops) Id let them do it, and they can deal with it if they break a line. Or just do it as part of the full CCV system refresh ya self, they all fail at somepoint anyway
-
Isnt it the heating element in the CCV system lines? They were shorting out and starting fires.

Went paddock bashing in the sun

Yeah same calipers as mine, the front rotors and all pads are the same and bolt on, but 130s need different rear rotors - https://www.ebay.de/itm/Bremsscheibe-2-Stueck-COATED-DISC-LINE-Brembo-09-C246-11-/123588455233 is whats on mine.

Bimmersport sticker lasted 5 years, fell off in last wash so got replaced. Just managed to snipe a set of mint lci door cards on tardme, so will swap em in with new blaupunkt speakers and subs, driven by a focal amp. Going to take some wiring to separate the factory sub wiring from the head unit.

Theyre realllly cheap, most go for 3 times that price.

cheap - https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/brakes/listing-2722836467.htm?rsqid=2c87eb7aa7a046a6bdaa7aac6091a1e3-001

The ones left and right of the boot, its about 5 min to get access. The rear end is easy.
-
Whats one of these actually worth now? I need one to match my 1980s pre stock market crash executive house... Maybe I have no taste, but that colour and those wheels look awesome to me
-
Ahh... interesting, so that B1 V1 sized swaybars, mine are 28/16mm. Did you take note of the spring/shock p/n? Be curious if Birds went back to the old setup (lower spring rates, bigger sways) or youve got big sway bars and the higher spring rates of the V2
-
Its part of the Y that joins the two exhaust manifolds.
-
That is slick, I think the wheels work!
-
Weird, mine are Eibachs.. so there is still 3 B1 versions What diameter are the bars?
-
Ive got the same splitters, same deal.. not perfect fitment but they are cheap. You'll soon find that they are are wear item, I'm on my second set (Spirited driving down Old Taupo Road at 2am and they meet the tarmac..)
-
Kick ass!! Looks great, We are going to have to see if Red or Yellow brakes work better Curious on the H&R springs with the B1 kit, have they changed from the Eibachs?? (That would make it 3 different B1 versions...) MILVS, a tune and headers are next on my todo list, so will follow closely.

I bet the marketing guy who wrote that waffle was crying all over his keyboard whilst typing, wondering where he went wrong in his career path. Its the polar opposite of all those things, its about as charming and elegant as Trump wearing crocs and a mankini.

Saw one of these on the motorway yesterday - https://www.bmw.co.nz/en/all-models/x-series/x7/2018/bmw-x7-inspire.html I had to take a second look, thought it was one of those offbrand chinese copy things of other prestige cars.. but it was a real BMW... BMW have seriously lost their way, what a monstrosity.

Attach a lever to a long arm, thats hooked up to the seat, so when you sit down the lever pushes an arm that presses the button. Or you could just press the button ?
-
Or its more of a basket case than it appears...

E90, complete with M stripes, nurburgring stickers, and quad remus exhaust tips... RH side ones didnt go anywhere and appeared to be glued on, but I appreciate the effort in keeping that much thrust balanced.
