bump!!! front lip has some damage but may be usable rear sun blind m-sports steering wheel with airbag black hood linning sunroof coupe type seats are nice half leather sports type. sweet sounding engine only done 140k's bilstein suspension all around super sprint rear muffler copy m3 mirrors ,electric good jatco trans also have 5spd manual kits

new project car arrived from chch today nz new 2002 saphire black 330i touring done approx 96k black leather sport seats. removalable towbar near near eagle tyres small scratch in the left front. should be a nice car . dont like the facelift bumpers though thinking about mtec front bumper from the 330ci i had maybe the bbs LM's from my wifes e36 328i touring and maybe the mtec coupe suspension etc from the 330ci

early 1998-99 e46 318i have a sleightly different 4spd gm trans , better at changing but seam to pack up more often. later 2000 318i have a 5spd gm trans better again. buy my 328i m-sport coupe convert it to manual (can do it for you if need be) they return pretty good ecnomy etc.. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=45181

check the bumper reinforcement has not been cracked (behind the bumper cover), comon issue when been banged into

the 318i 318ti 318is all use the GM brand of 4 speed automatic gearbox , not the best gearbox around but they seam to last for ages , dont have the jerk . but a bit sluggard . its a large gearbox over engineer for a 4cyl , weighs heaps . they are a pretty old unit like holden HQ trimatic with a overdrive added to them best to buy a manual 5spd one or convert a auto to a manual , my mate has had 2 318ti with the auto's both where converted to manuals , and both cars got about another 150km per tank of gas. he drives from manurewa to pukekohe each day and with the auto's use to get about 550-600km per tank now that they are converted manual he gets about 650-770km per tank, and thats driving any odd way a/c on or off etc. i have another mate with a 318ti auto and he complians too his 330i gets better millage. so the 316i , 318i , 318ti 318is all seam to work better when manuals.

had it for 9 plus years now , so might as well keep it a bit longer:) might even do the exhaust some time soon. engine deserves better

finally some paint on the e28 more painting and fitting windscreens back in bonnet , side skirts and front bumper ,sunroof panel to be painted next week etc

just got this in , if anyone is after facelift e46 coupe parts very tidy 2004 318ci 82k's sport seats , hit in the drivers door and front gaurd , A piller area . has a nice quiet running engine and trans. one of the 5amp fuses blown , faulty comfort realy (behind glovebox blue colour) also make sure you all your door switches are working properly , drivers door one is quite often worn down etc

na you dont need it . go well in my e34 544iT 6spd

vac leaks , faulty intermitant cam or crank sensor. insulation breaks down inside the plug . have you had it scanned yet??
