also check for vaccum leaks around some of the rubber hoses , they fall to bits after a while and need replacing. will cause rough idle and stalling etc
-
ok thanks as a few of the pictures you see on google show them mounted at the back or are there different versions etc??what are these things worth???
-
got this e36 325i in today has some 17" by 8" BBS LM's with a ET40 to me it looks like spoke section should be mounted from the back is this an option??? but the offset seams to sit right in the e36. could they be made into a ET20 etc???
-
have driven both , a e36 328i goes well due to being leighter a e46 328i is heavier but with the same power and torque so will be a bit slower so it makes sence to go for the 330i with the unrestricted power where as teh 328i is restricted a bit but can be modified to relieve some of the hidden power (as whayney has proven). i have also driven a e46 328i with 330i inlet manifold ,intake and elctroincs etc and it went better than a std 328i. anyway my stock 1986 e28 535iA that i just brought would drag the lot of these off with its stock 310Nm and 218Hp

mainly looking for a set or pair of tyres 225/60-15" size but would consider a full set of alloys with tyres if the price is right something like 15" bbs from a e34 etc . to suit a nz new 86 e28 535ia or 16" or 17" alloys only or tyres widths like 7 or 8" offset around ET20 etc what have you got laying around in your shed etc?? 021433600 in papakura thanks brent

yes quite fast , takes a few laps to catch up yes noticed that , was fun seeing how close you can get to them before clipping them yes the 4" millar maf unit has changed the sound quite a bit(and the extra few revs it can do)a few guys commented to me on the day about the sound it makes from the outside

couple of videos from the bmw club track day in taupo over the weekend first time in a while for my car on the track with all the mods and tunning done etc was handy being able to rev to 7000rpm , also decent torque out of the corners preformed quite well. also marty was there with his turbo e28 , but my camera battery went flat so missed filming him from behind was spitting flames at me etc fell free if anyone else has photo's or vids to add here

a well set up medium case e30 diff should be ok , from a 323i 325i 325e etc. just buy a complete rear end like this. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=460937832 but if you wanna go to the large case 8 bolt diff then i think some people do it , if you have 400+ hp etc otherwise the medium size one will do

put the reg on hold , doesn't cost anything , otherwise you have to back pay the reg costs
