lossen the colar with a big spanner then slide apart .best not to pull them apart as they are balanced

any model 316i 318i 318is 318ti 316ti 320i 323i 325i all use a getrag 220 box 328i and 3L m3 use a zf box though , but they will also fit onto a m20 engine why do you need a box like this , is it for racing etc??

yes , but its a bit shinny now.

have had new batterys fail before .get yourself a meter and measure the amps if draws when sitting there and then slowly remove one fuse at a time to see which one makes a difference, also the door locking solinoids and door locking control modules fail in these cars . do all the central locks work ??

YES CHECK BATTERY AGE , also check what current drain when the thing is just sitting there . check the glove box light is not one (broken switch etc)

i am just tidying up a 96 318is and looking for a set of alloys with wof std tyres . can be 15" 16" 17" or 18" not too expensive or boring or blingy etc what have you got laying around thanks brent 021433600

ok , head is gone now , still have the block with crank rods and pistons etc . best way to power out of your M50 m52 or m20 engine block .

glove box light ?? you need to hook up a amp meter between battery and positive cable check what currant draw is at then start removing fuses one at time to see which one makes it frop off .

yes quite a rare cluster . only used in the late model 520i 525i excutives 1994 onwards etc . its more like a e36 cluster inside . yes millage is stored in the cluster . yes shane should be able to sort it for you. but if you have no luck i should be able to get you one

ok . anyway you should have a plug from under the carpet going into that little box .

only the pass seat matters , the little box should go to the twisted yellow wires?? hard to see in the picture . thats the passenger seat sensor. you will also need to reset the air bag light with a scanner tool after you have done it.

i would like to lower it a little later on , but want to do it properly with new shocks etc. its got a M62b44 4.4L non vanos engine from a 96 540i , modified to run on the orginal 4L m60 loom and ecu. remapped etc goes very well

just got it back from the painter . repainted the bonnet , new boot lid , , change the bumper to the 540i type . painted out the chrome trims etc. fitted the MK motorsport alloys and new tyres . project link here http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....15&start=15

yes tyre size is to big for a e46 . 225/40-18 or maybe a 235/35-18 will work?? http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E46/Seda...s/summer_tyres/ how low is the car?? or is some of the plastic gaurd linners broken and falling down etc

priced about right . not the best colour though for a e34 you can take those turbine covers off. they look like this. or gets some throwing star covers for them . like this
