dyno tunning and remapped the ecu on the m5 . http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....30&start=30

dyno run today . with the ecu being remaped by gavin at high velocity need to do a bit of work on the intake and exhaust system to let a few more pony's out . a good increase of torque and fairly good across the rev range of power. but its a little restricted up at the topend should keep going past 180rwKw or so previous dyno time with the old worn engine. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=25493

always buy on condition not k's i have seen some pretty ratty cars with less k's than others that have had more love with higher k's

for sale a 4L M60B40 V8 engine with the heads removed . requires 2 new head gasgets and some new big end bearings . and away you go , good for parts or a project . engine was running fine except it has a sleight tapping noise (sounded like a tappet noise) but turned out to be big end bearings on one of the conrods which was causing the piston to just tap the head sleightly. heads where removed for inspection only , they turned out to be fine . $500ono for the engine and most of the bits that go around it . these are rated at 286Hp 210Kw 400Nm just clearing out my shed heads alone would be worth about $700-800 each call 021433600

just a small update , being enjoying driving this thing around . loads of pull with the 4.4L and 5spd . cleaned it up a bit . will go in soonish for a little paint etc. need to get the ac going for summer . need to get the ecu remapped changed the steering wheel to mtec II type from a early e36 model fitted a pioneer deck with blue tooth handsfree and ipod control etc just swapped the wheels over to some 17" by 8.5" racing dynamics. gotta get some new shocks and lowering springs soon. some nice BBS 15" alloys and tyres for sale .
